Short but craggy hike with fine views
The name of this mountain means "eight swords", after the jagged peak. It's about an hour to the top from either side of Hakkenzan Tunnel. Views of the Toyohira river valley, the mountains of Jozankei...

１ It's a mountain that can be climbed in about an hour, but the road was quite hard. There are quite a few rocks, so I think it's better to have mountain shoes.
Iwate Hills
Even elementary school students can go up. Probably about an hour. It's quite steep and it's a cliff, and there are ropes, but please be careful. There has also been a slip accident before. It's very close to Jozankei, so it's a good idea to go to Jozankei hot springs after climbing. There is also a famous winery nearby.
