The temple is hidden in a pine forest with quiet scenery. It was founded by Master Bing in 1843. Master Bing was known as a "filial son". The King of Vietnam at that time was moved by Monk Bing's kindness and gave him the title of "Holy Heir and Filial Heir". From then on, the temple was named Cixiao Temple.
