Eight Immortals Mountain

Eight Immortals Mountain is located in the northwest of Jixian County, Tianjin, about 140 kilometers away from Beijing and 150 kilometers away from Tianjin. The mountains are densely forested, with rivers and waterfalls between the trees, and the environment is beautiful. In autumn, the scenery of red leaves in the mountains is very beautiful. The Baxianshan Nature Reserve has a peculiar landform, with many rock wall wonders such as a line of sky, a ladder, and ten thousand scrolls of heaven. The Baxian Mountain Scenic Area is about 5 kilometers in depth, and there is Juxian Peak with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters in the scenic area. Generally, the main route to visit is to climb Juxian Peak, which can be reached on foot, which takes about 3-4 hours. You can also take the battery car in the scenic area. The battery car is divided into two sections, the end point is the mountainside area, and you can climb the stone steps for about half an hour to reach the top. After reaching the top of the mountain, you can go back to the parking lot from the original road and take a car down the mountain, or you can go down the mountain along the Taiping Valley from another road and return to the gate of the scenic spot. The gate of Baxianshan Scenic Spot is located at the foot of the mountain on the south side. After entering the scenic spot, you can walk or ride along the uphill road on the right. The first half of the scenery is dominated by landforms, such as crocodile head, stone waterfall, Ten Thousand Books of Heaven and Sky Ladder. The shapes are realistic and peculiar, as well as ponds, waterfalls and other landscapes. The landscape and the environment are beautiful, you can watch them one by one. However, this section does not stop if you take a car, and you can watch it from both sides of the car. Jinguiwang Beidou is the end point of the previous section of the battery car. After arriving here, tourists should walk to the plank road on the right side of the highway. The plank road is not long, and it takes about half an hour to walk. In the depths of the plank road, there are several clear and beautiful small pools such as Yulong Deep Sea, Pearl Beach, and Jade Pond. Among them, Pearl Beach is the essence. There are many white stones in the pool water, and the pool water is green and very beautiful. When walking on the plank road, you can also look eastward, and you can see the Great Wall built in the Northern Qi Dynasty winding among the mountains, which is very spectacular. After a lap of the plank road, we came to the Camel Peak next to the road, where you can take the next battery car or continue to climb the mountain on foot. The driving distance is very short, and you can quickly come to the small parking lot. This is the end point of the battery car, and from here all tourists have to climb the mountain on foot. First of all, you will pass the forest bathing place, which is a dense woodland, leisurely and cool, and it is very pleasant to come here in summer. After entering the forest, you will come to Ming'anliang. The road here is relatively steep and you need to climb stone steps to reach the top. There are many ancient stone blocks marked on the side of the stone steps. There is also a very interesting place called "one step spanning 1.8 billion years". There are two adjacent stone slabs, one formed 1.8 billion years ago, and the other is 3.6 billion. Formed a few years ago, tourists can stand on two stones with their feet, and it is very interesting to take pictures. After passing the stone road, you will come to the top of Juxian Peak. The field of vision here is very wide, and you must have a relaxed feeling when you look around. And every autumn, the red leaves all over the mountains come into view, which is a good place to take pictures. On the north side of Juxian Peak, you can see a large flat stone slab called Baxian Stone. It is said that the Baxian had a picnic and rested here when they passed by, which is also the origin of the name of Baxianshan. Baxianshi is a well-known camping site. There are mountain roads that can lead to it. If you continue to go west from Baxianshi, you can cross to Limutai Scenic Area. However, this route is only crossed by outdoor enthusiasts, and ordinary tourists are not recommended to go. From Juxian Peak, you can go back to the parking lot and take a car down the mountain, or you can walk down the mountain from the side of Taiping Valley. There are several strange stones with different shapes such as flying stones, tortoise drying armor, and meditation stones on the roadside of Taiping Valley. , you can choose whether to go according to your interest. It takes about 1-2 hours to go down the mountain. After visiting Baxianshan, you can go back directly, or you can stay in the local area for one night, and then go to the nearby Limutai Scenic Spot to play. You can directly take the "Jixian-Xiaogang" shuttle bus between the two scenic spots, or you can find a car through the local farmhouse. . There are many farmhouses near the entrance of Baxianshan Scenic Area. Each room costs about 100 yuan. You can relax in the simple farmyard surrounded by mountains, and you can also taste authentic farmhouse dishes, which is very comfortable.
