Kiyosumi Gardens

The green water reflects a long history, the Meiji period representative return forest spring (pool) garden. It is said that this garden was originally the mansion of Wen Zuoweimen, a rich businessman in the Edo era. In 1924, after the Great Kanto Earthquake, the Iwasaki family gave the smaller East Side to Tokyo, and the "Kyoto Garden" began to be restored and rebuilt, and opened as a Tokyo City Park in July of Showa 7 (1932). In 1977, the adjacent plots on the west side of the garden were also opened as parks. On March 31, 54 (1979), the "Kingdom Garden" was designated a Tokyo metropolis. In addition, Qingcheng Garden saved many lives in the Kanto earthquake of September 12 (1923) and the March air raid of Showa 20 (1945) in the main area.

Qingcheng Garden is located in the Qingchengbai River with a strong wind. It is a return-style forest spring garden with spring water, rockery and dry landscape as the main body.
