Inax Ginza showroom
Original Text
It was a Ginza showroom of former 々 INAX. After that, I also did bookstores and tile shops related to architecture. It seems that it has become a gallery now and is a base for disseminating design, artistic objects and things.
In the "Kitchen Views" exhibition at LIXIL Gallery Tokyo. Exhibition of "Kitchen" which is indispensable for daily life. Introducing traditional kitchens around the world, changes in Japanese kitchens, kitchens made by architects, etc. with materials, models, and panels. The architect's kitchen was nice with Mees's "Fansworth House" in the photo. Until August 24th. Free admission. Shooting is possible.
I went to a special exhibition at the Fujiya Hotel. A gallery operated by Lixl, a water-related equipment manufacturer. I'm glad it's free. It's not big, so it's recommended if you're spending time in Ginza.
The gallery is run by LIXIL, which exhibits architecture and design related exhibitions, and has three exhibition spaces on the second floor according to the theme. Since it was operated by INAX, the previous company, I have visited regularly and have good exhibits even though it is a small gallery. Some of them are for architecture and professionals, but anyone can enjoy the current exhibition "Furusato Dagashi" exhibition. It is located a 1-minute walk from Kyobashi Station and is recommended to visit while going to Ginza.
There is a slightly interesting architectural publication called Rixil Booklet, which was previously published on INAX. We held an exhibition in conjunction with the publication of "Antarctic Architecture 1957-2016" in this series.
