Uncho Ishikawa's work was wonderful. I completely agree with the name of Seinosuke Nakajima, who was called Michelangelo in Japan. 素晴らしい

石川雲蝶の木彫りの彫刻などが素晴らしく、感動しました。細部まで繊細かつ大胆で見惚れてしまいます。ほかの作品も見たくなりました。御朱印も3種類ありました。ペットは不可です。

運よく写真撮影が出来ましたよ

長岡花火大会を見物した翌日、レンタカーで訪れました。前回、南魚沼市在住の知人に連れて来てもらい、開山堂の天井に彫られた石川雲蝶の作品に感激しました。本来なら写真撮影禁止ですが、今回は運よく期間限定で写真撮影出来るとの事で、たくさん写真撮影しました。和製ミケランジェロと言われている石川雲蝶の天井彫刻、是非見に行って下さい。オススメです。
