Shifang Temple

Shifangtang, located on the east side of the mountain gate of Luoyu Temple, is the genus temple of Luoyu Temple. It was built in the Qing Dynasty during the Daoguang period. In the Kangxi period, Luoyu Temple was changed from the Qing Temple to the Huang Temple (Lama Temple), where Tibetan Buddhists in Qinghai and Gansu pilgrimage to Mount Wutai, where they lived and practiced. Shifangtang, the monks gradually increased, the Shifangtang was built during the year of Daoguang, specially to entertain the lamas from far away and the good men and women of ethnic minorities.

There are really too many temples in Wutai Mountain. If it weren’t for me to take pictures, many temples may not remember their names. It’s like this temple doesn’t have much surprises from the outside, and there are not many tourists inside, but when you walk in, But find there are many things worth savoring in this quiet temple.

Wutai Mountain Shifangtang, also known as Guangren Temple, is located in Yingfang Natural Village, Yanglin Village, Taihuai Town, Wutai County. It is located in the north and south, 57 meters long, 101 meters wide, covering an area of 5757 square meters. According to the stone record in the temple, it was built in Qingdao Light Nine Years (1829). After the founding of New China, the state allocated funds to repair it, except for the modern building of Zhaitang and Jushi Building, Yu were the remains of the Qing Dynasty.

Shifangtang is located in Guangren Temple, is a famous Tibetan Buddhist Huangjiao monastery in Wutai Mountain, located at the top of Bodhisattva in Taihuai Town. The Shifangtang in the temple is mainly a Tibetan hospital, engaged in Tibetan medicine research, and also for the faithful to see a doctor.

Guangren Temple, a distinctive temple in Wutai Mountain, is right next to Luoyu Temple. Guangren Temple, a Tibetan-style temple, also proves that Wutai Mountain is indeed all-encompassing, and there are temples of any style here.
