Xianyou Confucious Temple

Xianyou Confucian Temple is located on the north side of Xianyou County Stadium in the city (Yanchipu), built in the Song Dynasty, and is one of the four major Confucian Temples in Fujian Province. The Confucian Temple has been repaired and expanded for thousands of years, and the scale was once very grand. Unfortunately, the ancient buildings such as the Krypton Gate, Wenchang Palace, Zunjing Pavilion, Minglun Hall and the famous Xianxuan and Pavilion, Tai, Pavilion, Yuan, Pool, and Bridges that were built in the past have disappeared. Only preserved ancient buildings such as Anal Gate, Liangxuan, Dacheng Palace, Chongxunxuan, Wenchang Pavilion, covering more than 4,100 square meters, the temple has four pairs of dragon relief stone pillars in the Song Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, which are extraordinary and very artistic.
