🇲🇾 Pahang Kuantan Experience with Sea Turtles |关丹和海龟一起难忘的体验🐢🌊 ✨ First, you need to arrive at the designated location before 9:00 PM. The experience starts with a short sharing session by the turtle conservation team. They’ll explain interesting facts about sea turtles — like why out of every 1,000 eggs hatched here, only 1–2 turtles may eventually return to lay eggs, how a turtle’s gender is determined, and why turtle conservation is so important. While we were listening, the conservation team was already patrolling different nesting spots along the beach, checking if any turtles had come ashore. At around 10:30 PM, they told us that one turtle had reached her nesting spot and started laying eggs, so we could finally go and watch! After laying her eggs, she spent quite a while covering the nest with sand. At this point, we were allowed to take photos and even get a photo with her~ ✨ The conservation team noticed that RITA kept watching the turtle because she was worried about whether the eggs would be taken away or eaten. So they invited us to follow behind the mama turtle and accompany her all the way back to the sea. 🐢 She even took a little detour along the way, and the staff gently tapped her shell to guide her in the right direction — it was honestly so cute! At the end, we also watched the team carefully dig up all the eggs from the nest. ✨ The fee is RM65 for adults and RM45 for children. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but after learning more about the conservation work and seeing the whole process, I honestly think it’s reasonable. The nesting spots are chosen naturally by the turtles, without human intervention. If a nesting area becomes unsuitable, the conservation team will add fresh sand. The beach is also patrolled 24/7 to prevent freshly laid turtle eggs from being stolen. All the eggs are then carefully transferred to the turtle conservation area for safe incubation. ✨ Important reminder when watching the turtles: TURN OFF your phone flashlight! ⚠️ Sea turtles aren’t afraid of noise, but they’re very sensitive to light. At first, we had already waited for three turtles to come ashore, but someone started setting off fireworks by the beach and scared all three of them away. 😭 So please remember to keep all lights off! 🐢 Turtle nesting season: April–October every year ⏰ 9:00 PM–11:30 PM daily 🌊 Baby turtle release season: May 15–September every year ⏰ 6:30 PM daily Definitely one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in Malaysia. 🇲🇾 ✨首先9:00前要来到指定地点,主要流程如下:海龟保育员会讲解一些海龟的知识,比如为什么这里彤化的每1000颗蛋🥚最后只有1-2只海龟 会再次回到这里产蛋,海龟是怎么选择 的性别,我们为什么要保护海龟等等。听课的同时已经有海龟保育员在沙滩边的不同产蛋点巡逻着,看着有没有海龟上岸了。等到大概10点半,他们说有一只已经爬到了产蛋点在生了,我们可以过去看了。生完之后它会有很长时间埋蛋的动作,这时可 随意拍照了!也可以合影~ ✨之后保育员看到RITA一直看着海龟(她很担心蛋会不会被拿走或者 吃掉会),就提议我们一起跟在海龟妈妈身后,陪着它回到大海(期间它绕远路,保育人员还会拍它龟背给它指路,很可爱!)最后我们还看着保育人员从海龟埋好的地方把所有的挖出来。 ✨大人是RM65,小朋友 RM45,我一开始觉得有一点点贵,但是了解了保育员的工作和整个流程后,我觉得是合理的。 比如产蛋点是海龟自己选择的,非人工干预的,只是有时产蛋点臭了,保育员就会给产蛋点盖上新的沙;产蛋点 24h都有人值班巡逻,以防万一海龟刚生下来的蛋就被有的人偷走;所有海龟蛋都会拿去海龟保育区里孵化等等。 ✨看海龟的时候一定要注意手机的灯不要打开,海龟不怕声音,但怕光,一开始我们己经等到有3只海龟爬上来了,但因为有人在海边放烟花,就把三只都吓跑了,所以灯记得要关闭! ✨看海龟产蛋的季节是:每年的4-10月,每天晚上9:00-11:30 ✨放生海龟宝宝的季节是:每年5月15日-9月,每天晚上6:30 #solotravel #unforgettableexperiencesnces #backpacking2026 #localsouvenir #couplegoalstravel #traveldiscussion #myitinerary #travel2026 #travel #Trip
