It is a weekday on January 5th at the beginning of the New Year. The train arrived at Nishitanzawa Visitor Center by Fujikyu bus from Taniga Station on the JR Gotemba Line at around 8:25. I went from Nishitanzawa Visitor Center to the top of the mountain via Azalea Shindo, and on the way back I went back via Inukoshiji. There aren't many views of the mountaintop, but you can see the wonderful view of Mt. Fuji on the way to Inukoshiji after passing the mountaintop. The road is quite hard, especially from the top to Inukoshiji, it takes time and uses chains, so it's really tight, but as a result, it can be said that it is a mountain that is quite worth climbing.
