This is foreigner,'s view, not by locals. I have been 7 cities and towns throughout Sumatra and Jawa as low budget traveller's. And about same price ranged hotels, this one is most clean and neat. I'm not sure but I feel Surabaya is higher standard in Indonesia.

With a price of 175 thousand, it can be said that it is quite clean & comfortable. (+) - Pelayanan ramah - AC berfungsi - Got 2 mineral water. - Sabun + Shampo (*Tanpa sikat gigi & pasta gigi) - Downstairs is a small shop, so you can buy supplies there, at an affordable price (same as the general grocery store) very very helpful (-) - TV only one channel. - Warm water sometimes works sometimes not (even if it works, only warm to cold, can't be full warm) Recomend? Maybe Yes!

If it's a bed, it's pretty comfortable. Good TV channel is NET. Wifi lanches.
