The villa we stayed in was not next to the first row of beaches, but it was not far from the beach. That area was full of villas. The room was clean, and the occupancy rate was probably not very high. I ventilated the room as soon as I entered. My friend said the washing machine was new. There were simple tableware in the room, but no seasoning. It was no problem to make instant noodles, which was enough to take care of our Chinese stomachs. Hahahaha

Lots of facilities here for kids but old. The new cabins are clean and beautiful but the old cabins some are dirty and smelly. The staff here are not nice people.

This stay felt very good! One night the hair dryer in the room broke down, it was already very late, the administrator was off work, but still came down to help me deal with it, the service attitude was very courteous, it was really touching. The exterior and environment of the hotel are also beautiful, the style of the forest cabin is very characteristic, and it is both comfortable and vacation-like to stay. The overall experience exceeded expectations and was very satisfying!

Marcus was really helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond walking us to an Irish Pub where we could enjoy some Guinness and St Patricks day. Pointing out top eating spots. Lovely communal kitchen and lounge area is great too.

Overall to meet expectations. It is a camp area, there are different cabins, you can drive in the camp car, there are many facilities in the camp, because we leave early and return late, this is not to enjoy the facilities, especially the swimming pool, we simply squander time. If there are many people, it will be very cost-effective. The location is also very good, there is a supermarket in less than 10 minutes, convenient for shopping. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the beach, with camels, sandboarding and four-wheel drive.

Great place to stay in the Hunter Valley region. The location was fantastic, with easy access to wineries and local attractions. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

A charming little hotel. Rooms are extremely small but there is enough space to swing the proverbial cat, just!😂 It felt as though the beautiful spacious old building had packed in as many rooms as possible, to maximise profit. Coffee and tea facilities were provided in the room and although the bathroom was shared with 3/4 other rooms I never had to wait to use it for a shower in the morning. My room had its own sink, which I found to be a useful touch. There were basic kitchen facilities and a laundry hidden away in the bowels of the building. I found Randwick to have everything you need and is easily connected to the city centre by tram line 1. Sydney's accommodation is incredibly expensive for what you get. I felt that this hotel did offer quite good value for money and for a night or two I would stay here again.

My family enjoyed our 1 night stay at Discovery Park Moama West. Warm and friendly staff greeted us on arrival. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with everything we needed, including a spa which the kids enjoyed after dinner. Our cabin was close to the pool and the playground, the jumping pillow was fun for the kids. The pool was a bit cold for the adults but this didn't stop the kids who are a lot tougher than their parents. Great location, a short drive to the RSL where we had dinner with 10% off everything when we showed our cabin key tag.

AAnonymous UserThe Good: - comfy bed - stable hot shower with refillable shower gel bottles - fridge - washing machine plus dryer - lots of power ports - very central location - easy enough to contact the owner for info The Not So Good: - only one towel for three nights, maybe another one will do? - washing machine needs some maintenance, quite dirty and needs some cleaning/dust removal. The dryer works, but can overheat, probably due to dust collecting. - pillow was too thin, maybe another pillow will do - room was a bit small but not surprising, was a bit hard to place my large luggage Overall, I’d recommend the place despite some small issues that could make it the perfect place to stay. The price isn’t too bad, a bit more expensive than nearby hotels/hostels with the same room type, but I’d happily trade that for a quieter place to sleep.

GGuest UserWe decided to stay here as we had to drop one of our vehicles for a service nearby and we live 96km away, the opposite side of Sydney, which would have involved being stuck in peak hour traffic for a lot of the trip, so instead of it being approx 1hr 45 minutes, it would likely have been about 3 hours! Having decided to travel up and stay nearby it seemed sensible to take a second vehicle so that we had some way of getting around while the other was in being serviced (and we had no idea how long that might take!) On arrival, I asked about parking onsite for the second vehicle and was told in a not particularly pleasant manner that only one vehicle was allowed onsite and we would have to park the other in a street outside the park! Once we were onsite, we found that there was a large carpark just inside the park which was only half full overnight and many vacant tent and caravan spots, as well as the parking outside the studio we had had NO other cars beside ours! There would have been absolutely no reason not to allow us to have our second vehicle within the holiday park, other than blind insistence on following a rule. I can understand that over holiday periods and summer, there would be no room for additional vehicles, however, on a Monday night in winter, this should not have been an issue. If you are travelling with more that one vehicle, I would suggest looking for alternative accommodation, although there does not appear to be much in the way of hotels/motels/caravan parks, etc in this locality.

2213311****Hygiene: Overall, it was clean, but there were dead cockroaches in the wardrobe, and the towels were old with permanent stains. Environment: The environment was not as good as shown online. Service: When there were issues, service was provided, but not always promptly. Facilities: Initially, the light was broken (and there was only one), no fan, the shower faucet wouldn't turn off completely and kept dripping loudly, and there was no WiFi. After communication, the first three issues were fixed, but the WiFi was not.

AAli HHThis was a family trip with my wife and little baby girl. Was recommended by a friend that has been a few times with his family. And honestly this was one of the best short getaway trips from Sydney so convenient for all amenities and beaches and shops. Highly recommend this amazing place.

TTim Captures MomentsWe stayed at Kurrara Hotel Guesthouse as a last-minute booking due to limited availability, but it ended up being a really enjoyable stay. One of the highlights was learning about the history of the property when we arrived, including its origins as a retreat and recovery place for visitors from Sydney. That historical charm gave the stay a unique atmosphere. The guesthouse had several quiet lounge and sitting areas to relax in, which added to the experience, although we only stayed one night and had limited time to fully enjoy everything before checkout. A major bonus for us was the EV charging station, which made travelling with our electric car much easier. The location was also very convenient — around a 10-minute walk to the Three Sisters lookout area and another short walk into town for dinner and cafes. Breakfast was simple but good, although quite busy since the hotel was full and breakfast was only served during a short time window. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay, and we would definitely consider staying there again.

PPolly HyamsNothing can accurately describe the beauty as we pulled up at this exquisite B&B. We met Janice as we arrived, who gave us our keys and a little explanation of the facility. As we opened our door and saw the breathtaking views we knew we had made the right choice. Comfort, luxury, every little aspect carefully thought out alongside the natural beauty made this the perfect two night break. Information at hand from where to eat to where to hike. The loft where we stayed was impeccable. Clean and comfortable with everything from candles and matches to light them, to a fridge with fresh milk, coffee/tea and even biccies! (Cookies) When Marty arrived with breakfast the next morning I couldn’t believe my eyes. Fresh, delicious and so much choice. A great start to a dsy of hiking through the forest. One recommendation only… a grab rail as you get out of the wonderful jacuzzi which I enjoyed both evenings. I managed but think I would have felt safer with one. Really nothing to fault.

TTim Captures MomentsWe stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning. One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.
