After staying, I feel pretty good, clean, quiet, and delivered at 3:00 in the middle of the night, satisfied.

|6.36km from city centerWe found a good rate here for 92.00 w tax. When we walked in hotel we were greeted by Quevette at the front desk. We did not have a reservation and she was most pleasant anyway. She made a special trip up to the 3rd floor to check to see if a room was ready. when she returned she explained just a 15 minute wait and we could ck-in as it was before the 3:00 pm check in time- We were very weary travelers on our way home from visiting Colorado Rockies, Grand Tetons Yellowstone Little Bighorn Memorial Park, Devils Tower, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Wall drugs, and Hot Springs SD. We were tired. Quevette advised if the room was not satisfactory to let her know and she will arrange another room. The room was clean comfortable and next day we had free breakfast and off to the airport- Hotel is 20 - 30 minutes from airport ….Good place to stay but hotel could use some touch ups.

|18.27km from city centerStaff above average, room as expected, property clean. What made this a poor experience is the worst shower in I have ever run into in all my Marriott visits (100+ a year). The shower head was at the ceiling, a person would have to be nearly 6ft tall to adjust it. The shower head itself sprayed in a wide circle. Someone short, like me, had water around me but not actually hitting me. I was either getting burned or freezing, no middle ground. Getting ready for the conference took twice as long as it should have because of this situation. Very unfortunate.

Girls made sure my room was clean and ready also to the back so I was close to the light rail walking. I am here for a couple weeks and honestly very happy with the price and size of my room but the customer service is the CHERRY!

The room we had was a little studio with a stove and a sink and a big refrigerator. The only down side of it was you had to rent the stuff to cook and eat off of. Otherwise our stay was good,room was good and clean. The staff was nice and we had no problems. I would recommend this to my friends and family as well.

The employees were extraordinarily friendly. The hotel offered coffee 24 hrs a day. Coffee was actually pretty good! :-) Free parking, quiet area. The room was fine. You could hear some noise from adjacent rooms upstairs and on the side, but not too bad. Absolutely no complaints, 5 star stay!

Check-in staff was not friendly -Hard to find a place to roast s’mores since multiple fire pits were out and staff said they couldn’t turn them on -Not a lot of breakfast option during the weekday -Overpriced My family, 3 adults/2 kids(5 & under), visited the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center this August (2024). It was our first time in Denver and we were really looking forward to our stay at Gaylord. The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from the airport. Not much restaurants or things to do were close to the hotel but we were ok with that. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was how grand and beautiful the hotel was. The grounds and hotel overall were very well kept and updated. We arrived in the afternoon and did not have a wait to check in. The gentlemen who assisted with check in was not very happy with life. Didn’t smile and was not very helpful. Instead of welcoming me and telling me about the resort, I had to ask him all the things including: Where was my room located? Did I need a key to get into the pool? Would towels be available at the pool? My room also came with a $50/night resort credit, parking was pre-paid, and we pre-paid for s’mores vouchers as well. None of that was explained or given to me until I asked about each one. If I never asked, I probably would have never received all the things I pre-paid for which is frustrating when I are already spent and planned so much. In addition, I even had to contact the resort after I left because the $50 credit was not applied one of the nights. Once we arrived to our room, we found it comfortable and had great service daily from the housekeeping staff. Water park: My kids enjoyed the water park area. The outdoor slides that accommodated my 5 year old were a big hit. My little one enjoyed the shallow end of the pool where he could stand and play. The highlight for the adults was the lazy river. Towels are available at the pool. Finding chairs poolside were a little difficult on the weekends with how busy the resort was. Not a big deal for us when we showed up before 10am. One downside was when we asked various staff questions like how to get to a certain place within the resort or what was a good restaurant to go to in the resort, many could not answer our questions. One even replied “I’m sorry I don’t know, I’ve never been around inside“ I thought this was a strange response being that they worked there. This was poor customer service in my opinion. 3D wildlife rescue & Live animals My family enjoyed exploring and hunting for the digital animals scattered throughout the lobby. |5.29km from city centerWe stayed here about a year ago and it was a wonderful stay, no complaints at all. Great room, great service, clean, no bad smells or obvious stains. This year though it was like staying in a completely different hotel. I am giving a rating of two because the staff were awesome and the bedding was comfortable (one point each for the positives) but the place smelled and not in a pleasant way. If I was basing my rating on just the staff, I would give RI a five but the problems were several. The cleaning product smell was overwhelming to the point that I had to leave breakfast when the worker started spraying the tables with some product that smelled toxic. The smell was everywhere, in the halls, in the guest rooms, in the lobby... The only way we tolerated the smell in our room was to open the windows. So happy that the windows opened even if it was only six inches. Carpets, soft goods - multiple stains, looked dirty. Bathroom door would not close properly. Telephone did not work. We reported the issues and I imagine they were dealt with but I really wish other guests would speak up when they notice things are not as they should be. It is not like the cleaning crew would be closing the bathroom door or using the in-room phone... We travel to Denver several times a year and would like to continue staying at the RI. I will watch the reviews and hope to see positive changes. Hopefully management will choose a different, less toxic smelling cleaning product, replace the carpets and other soft goods (furniture, etc) that have absorbed the cleaning product smells, and future reviews will mention how great the place looks and smells.

|6.59km from city centerFirst let me say that I normally post very positive reviews but that is not the case this time. Also, I can only speak for the room we were in which was 413. The room was very clean and you could smell the sanitizer when we first walked in the room. It was not overpowering but you could smell it. My issues with this particular room were the bathroom. The lighting was extremely poor and it was not conducive to applying makeup. Also, the shower is not setup very user friendly. The door can swing in or out but it is positioned so that when you turn on the water to warm it up you have to step in and get blasted with cold water. Not something I cherish to have happen. At one point during our stay two out of three elevators were out of order. When we left there was still one elevator that was out of order and had been most of our stay. The front desk staff was not friendly and no one at the desk gave me a warm and fuzzy glad you are here feeling. The best of the staff is in the restaurant and the shuttle driver. Shout out to Kookie, Jessica, Fernando and Jason in the restaurant. They definitely know how to interact with the guests and make you feel welcomed. Austin the shuttle driver was friendly and courteous. I would love to give this hotel an excellent rating but in my humble opinion nothing except the restaurant and shuttle driver are worthy.

The overall equipment can only be said to be improvised, which is equivalent to a domestic economical and practical hotel. In the rainy place 🈚️Shower room, the shower is too bad to adjust the size, after the water is turned on, the water will directly squash your skin! And there is only one shower curtain, which doesn't work at all, and there is water all over the bathroom after taking a shower!

We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant Saturday evening and then had the buffet breakfast Sunday morning. The atrium in Woolley's provides a peaceful place to relax. Our experience with the hotel's desk clerks at night and the next morning was pleasant, professional and efficent, so that's a plus! The room has comfortable beds, a large TV and modern decor (except for the carpet), but there was noticible wear and tear on the walls, a hot pink (nail polish?) stain on one of the bed sheets (which was put on the wrong way). The free breakfast was nothing speciale, but fine.

The hotel is undergoing renovations so no concierge lounge (temp breakfast set up), NO HOT TUB, the pool closes at 10pm now and it’s a little rough around the edges. I stayed here because of the pool & hot tub including both being open 24 hours…NO LONGER! They’ve drained the hot tub and I was told they are removing both the pool & hot tub to expand the gym.
