Room is clean, great stay having here, a small hotel but amenities just complete, like provide iron, city view, hot shower, free wifi and easy to parking after working hour, wonderful with the price and center at the city. Easy to reach shopping mall and reach public transport Rapid Kuantan station with walking distance just 300m. Easy for me to having a stay here. Will consider to have a stay here again. Last but not least, friendly staff and beautiful lobby. Their lobby got mini scout gallery is look nice when I first time to check in.

PLUS Big spacious room Clean Big spacious bathroom cum changing room Private parking lot Simple breakfast available CON Lack of security Staff a bit relaxed on enforcing new (Covid-19) normal Some room dirty and smelly (of ciggie smell) Simple breakfast (not much choice at all) Parking can be a bit limited during peak period When I arrived, staff didn't bother to enforce the self check in for contact tracing and temperature taking. So, if someone is sick or having a fever, he/she can easily enter to stay I was given a room which smelled horribly of smoking smell and the walls were tainted with dirt and smudge. If i am forced to stay in this room, i would move out ! Luckily, they gave me a totally different room (clean and no ciggie smell) after I complained. The 'reassigned' room was clean and spacious but a bit devoured of furnishing. Lighting was dimmed for my taste There was a 40” TV on wall. However, I didn't check for channels Bed was comfy enough. I brought my own pillows Air con was bad as the small aircon (I am guessing it was a 1 HP unit) could bare cope with the size of the room Bathroom was a surprise. It has a built-in changing room and ironing table/iron. I liked the toilet and shower were separated as the shower water would not wet the WC area. Toiletries such as soap,. shampoo and shower gel were provided as in 2 pairs of clean bath towels. Water pressure and hot water were adequate for a good shower. There a 'rain-shower' if you like that The biggest minus was the lack of security as one can enter the 1st floor indoor parking without any security checking. To make matter worse, anyone can enter the rooms' floors from the parking bay Breakfast was simple affair with white rice with ikan masak lemak and cried koay-teow. Adequate for quickie hit and run. Generally, staff was reasonably friendly especially the breakfast crew and the sole male house-keeper though they hesitated making guests to wear face-masks when in the hotel premise Internet speed was very bad (less than 5 mbps) though reception signal was good in my room Good for a 1 nite stay. Female guest is to be wary 'lack of security' from car park to room

I am booking for family room with 1queen 1single bed...but when i get it the room is so small.. Fit with 2 small bed until we sleep cnt turn up body..next day ask from counter they say thats is 2 queen bed...what the problem with the queen size bed n the back door double safety lock also spoiled. No good for each room no kettle for us..midnight want hot water need to go out corridors.the fridge also all karak...no cold..will not order 2nd time. The best is the counter service person all very snily n good attitude.

No overnight experience here, the experience of finding this place is a little difficult. Just got lost hahaha. For the service, we have to wait a bit even though there are no people hmm. Due to some business I had to find a hotel on the spot and the price for walk-in to this hotel is relevant and there's not too much differences from the promo online. I really enjoyed my 2 days and 1 night here. The room is very small so it might not really suitable if you want to bring your kids. But the room has such a nice deco. They have a large tv installed in the room, a fan, an aircond, iron board, iron, heater, hair dryer and sajjada. They arranged everything neatly so that everything could fit inside that room. The heater works well. The towel is quite old i guess cuz its quite rough. The lock for my toilet door is not working at that time but since I stay alone so it doesnt really matter. They have almost everything at their lobby. They sell junk foods, drinks and also other necessities. My wireless mouse was not working that night and I need to complete my work so I had to get out to buy batteries at 10pm. Luckily they sell it at the lobby so it really save me. The breakfast is quite mediocre, just OK. But its not bad. From the front hotel, you can see Berjaya Megamall and also KMC. If you are hungry, there's Ayam Penyet restaurant just across the road. There's also a lot of places nearby you can go to eat. Other than that, I dont have any noise issue while staying there. Lastly, the workers over there are so friendly. They use a polite tone and they also smile to the customer. There's one male staff who is very good in attending the customer. I literally ask the same question thrice and he still manage to answer with a smile. There's also no problem with parking, they'll provide you a coupon. I'm a girl and I think that place seems quite safe to stay alone. Thats all my review.

The hotel was surrounded by lots of restaurants. A shopping mall was behind the hotel. It's very convenient. It was a good location to stay. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. Just one thing is the soundproof is bad. Someone was making noise at midnight without consideration of others.

Firstly, I have to say, The Kasturi is probably my favourite place in Pahang. I first came here in 2018 - and it made such an impression that I couldn't wait to come back. Came back as soon as PKP was lifted (review here somewhere) and a tad disappointed. Husband booked a night's stay for our 18th wedding anniversary and I have to admit the service has improved by leaps and bounds. Check in was warm and professional - villa is clean and hubby had made arrangements for flowers and some refreshments in the room which was so appreciated by yours truly. Had same villa as previous stay - toilet is still wonky. Hand bidet in indoor shower compartment is still non functional and the fish keropok was left untouched this time (learnt my lesson from last time - pls get new supplier - I am sure there are many more keropok makers who can make better keropok sira) This time however, husband ordered food to be sent to the room - FYI, room service is limited to the asian food selection (not advisable to preorder western dishes as these will end up cold by the time it gets sent to the room) Loved the caprese salad and the fried rice. The seafood fried in batter was above average. The white rice and chicken was too sweet for our liking. Breakfast was served 'unlimited ala carte style' The variety was ok - choice of nasi lemak, western and chinese congee. Nasi lemak - much much better than the last time I was there - but had an issue with the sambal sotong, which I informed the staff. Saw that they offered 'DANISH' as part of breakfast - but we only received toast and baguettes - so I'm not sure if I was confused about the danish being pastries? Barista also needs to learn to make proper latte art. However, the F&B staff - Deedi was extremely friendly and warm. He looked like he knew what he was doing despite being his 6th day at Kasturi - thought I would make a special mention about him. Would I come back for a fourth time? Some improvements have to be made about the upkeep of the facilities in the room and definitely better improvements with the F&B - but Kasturi's one life-saving feature is definitely its location....

Rooms and hallways were absolutely filthy. Our shower still had tonnes of other people’s hair in it. The floor was gritty underfoot. Mirrors splattered. Soap scum in the bath. Curtains had holes in them. The door handle to our room also kept stopping working so every time we went out we had a 15 minute wait for someone to help get us back in by fiddling with various screws and things. Dead cockroaches and lizards in reception and hallways. The breakfast was also the worst we’d ever had and didn’t trust the cleanliness after the disgusting state of the room. It’s a shame because the pool and architecture of the hotel around the pool is quite pretty and has a lot of potential. But really not worth the money - we left early.

I had a wonderful stay at the Swiss Bell Hotel. My sea view room provided spectacular sunrise views, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious foods and drinks. Overall, the stunning views, warm hospitality, and excellent breakfast made my stay unforgettable. Check-in was smooth. Booked the family room, facing the sea. Had a pleasant stay, room was spacious and clean, bed was comfy, view was amazing. Provided towels, bath foam, shampoo,electric kettle and packed drinks, bottled water. However no mini fridge in the room. Happy that the hotel provided hot/cold water dispenser at the foyer, we just refilled our bottles whenever needed. Staffs attended me with a smile whenever i needed something. Breakfast was decent. Only frustrated with the big piles of stones placed along the beach, block views and can't really enjoy the beach. But when the tide comes in we did made the best of it. Affordable room for family of 5 with nearby eateries and groceries.

It was a very relaxing holiday for my family despite us travelling in a big crowd of 3 families. Stayed in one of the chalets. PROS: 1) enjoyed what nature could offer. The plants, tress, beach was such a relaxing, de-stressing sight. 2) service - very good i would say. They would respond immediately on the request of food or beverages. Upon checking in the chalet, was given glasses of welcoming drink. 3) chalet - love the concept of ”kampung” chalet. The whole structure is made of wood, which i felt was quite sturdy and didnt make much of funny noises when walked upon in the living room and hall. 4) swimming pool - as we had stayed in the chalet, there is a private pool next to to it. Water was prescient, with minimal to no insects seen. The common swimming pools on the other hand, they were fabulous. There is the kid's pool and the adult pool, which was kept very clean and my kids enjoyed tremendously playing in it. Cons: 1) being next to nature, you cannot avoid the annoying mosquitoes feeding on you. - best to have apply some mosquito repellent patch especially during the evenings. 2) food at the cafeteria however was quite a big let down in my honest opinion. Food options are not quite to my expectation. The plates and cutleries were dirty with visible stains. 3) the wooden stairs leading up to the chalet needs a major upgrade. It looks like it will give way anytime soon. We were really concerned as in our crowd, my aunty was walking with a walking stick. 4) not many options of food stalls except for a few local Malay restaurants down the road. 5) there are two rooms in a chalet. Unfortunately these rooms are separated and one needs to pass through a door to exit and another door to enter the room. Family with young children would not benefit staying in such design. Overall, i would give this place a 7/10.

Had a great overall experience. The service provided by the staff was excellent; they were attentive, friendly, and responsive to our needs throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, with a helpful video shared by the operator that made everything straightforward for those who can follow instructions well. However, it might be challenging for those who prefer not to read detailed instructions. One of the major highlights was the hotel's location, which is conveniently close to various attraction spots. My unit had a beautiful view facing the sunrise area, adding a special touch to the stay, although I regretfully missed the opportunity to catch the sunrise moment. The unit itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment. However, the small room, which I believe was a storeroom, was only equipped with a fan and became quite hot, making it uncomfortable for anyone to sleep in unless the door was left open. In summary, my stay was enjoyable thanks to the excellent service, prime location, and cleanliness of the unit. With some improvements to the small room's ventilation, the hotel could offer an even better experience for its guests.

Very easy self check in thanks to host instructions. We really enjoy our stay here. Timurbay is very suitable for family, and if you prefer staying in than exploring Kuantan. This place is a bit far from the town (around 20 min) but everything is complete and nearby. Got many pools and direct access to the beach, got cafes and shops around. We had 3 rooms and all of them had stained sheets. I had to change rooms 3 times before getting one with proper working air conditioning. The bathroom is tiny and weirdly configured (imagine: the toilet bowl brushes against your legs when standing at the sink, shower door must be open when sitting on the toilet). The furniture is cheap and broken. Limited parking shared between this hotel and Seasons View so it's always full. Parking in front of the shop lots will require hourly coupons imposed by the council. The chime of the lift is so loud you can hear it from the room. For light sleepers like me, it is especially disturbing. The roller blinds is narrow with segmented design so there is light seepage from the sides and through if you don't align it properly. Only good thing was the front desk guy who checked us in. Very helpful and resolved the non-AC issue by letting us check out the 3 adjacent rooms (2 of which also blew hot air). Unfortunately, he was replaced by a night watchman who's kind but clueless manning the counter after 11pm. We asked about parking when we came back after dinner and he couldn't offer much help. Plenty of other options around.

The evening session staff are very friendly & helpful. The condition of the room is suitable for the price offered, the room is spacious & comfortable. Room furniture, quite good. Only if you can change the mattress to suit & television no broadcast. The bathroom is spacious, the water system is slow & noisy. But it can be used. Exceptional setting. The Spanish-style building is at the heart of a huge wooded lot. The setting is peaceful, it feels very good. The common areas are pleasant, as are the bedrooms (comfortable bedding and non-aggressive air conditioning). The staff is very friendly and at the service of the guests. I would particularly like to thank the hostess who is very friendly and available. Clearly it is a place that I recommend, we all loved our stay at casa Titik. Congratulations to the owners.
