|5.64km from city centerAs others have said, this hotel is nice but does need to move forward. When we arrived after a very long flight and drive we couldn’t find reception. It appeared that the drive through drop off had been turned into a seating area and there were no signs or directions to help, first fail. We finally found where to go and had a lot of luggage so had to just park as near as we could and find a trolley. This area was opened up the day we left so least loading the car was easier. There was only one lift we found which was very very slow. The foyer is also very noisy as the Hudson restaurant overspills into that area. We were told we had a large king room and when we went in, yes it was nice and spacious with a huge sofa to chill on. However when we looked out of the massive window, rather than a lovely balcony or even a view of the car park we were squashed in the corner with just a view of a pitched roof so made our room very dark with very limited natural light. The patio room next door was being refurbed so there dirty windows and dust. We never actually saw anyone fixing it either. The coffee making area was very tiny so instead of putting it into the room, it’s squished by the bathroom. What we hadn’t realised and not easy to see, the coffee in reception and parking there is a fee for so beware of that - you get nothing for free. There is a pool but was heavily used by children so there appeared to be no adult time. It also looked tired. Everywhere does look like it needs redecorating and bedding is tired and one slow lift clearly was a hindrance to some. As we were only one floor up we used stairs apart from check in and out. What did notice was someone had used a table upstairs for chilling as there was seating but a dirty wine glass and beer glass stayed there for three days! Didn’t make us feel that cleanliness was priority. We only had one breakfast at Hudson bar which was nice but at $65 we thought that not viable for our stay, so we brought some breakfast to have in our room each day. Washing up was a challenge so bought own tea towel. As others have said cleaning is on request so we opted not to have it and just asked for coffee pods as needed. Fridge did need a defrost, as couldn’t put any ice packs into the ice box. Staff are ok but again depends who you get, needs to be more across the board than intermittent.

|1.78km from city centerWe found the Hilton Vancouver to be a great hotel that also provided great service! Before the visit, I got a text asking if we needed anything so I asked Dickson about possible upgrades for a Diamond --- he offered an upgrade to a park view (same room type) and when I asked about the Junior Suite, he offered a paid upgrade into one which I took since it seemed reasonable (some hotels upgrade me for free to suites but it sounds like for this one this class of rooms is beyond the usual free upgrade stage, but I still did it to try out the suite). I appreciated the communications from Dickson about our upcoming stay and he provided us a high floor room for the suite. The room itself was quite nice - note that the Jr Suite is still just one room (with a King bed and no sleeper sofa (there is a single seat couch) but with tables in both the entry area and near the bedroom; it was hard to tell from the photos and at check-in someone in the front said there was a sleeper sofa so I suppose some of the other rooms might have that). We liked the 'kitchen-like' table at entry as it was situated right in front of a window facing the park. Breakfast was great - they have a restaurant called Gray's and Sharon took my to-go order and was both prompt & very professional, and food was good (Diamonds get a $15/day credit so you can use it there for B/L/D). Staff was all very good and helpful to questions I had since this was our first (of probably many) trips to Vancouver.

|9.31km from city centerDuring a power outage we made a reservation atca different Residence Inn only to have it canceled via email a few hours later. I called this location and not only did they have a room, after hearing of our lack of power the agent told us to come up even before check in hours. The kindness shown to us as we were desperately seeking lodging on day 4 of a power outage was simply the best and very much appreciated! From my initial phone call, to the check in process and late the next day when we checked out early - customer service and kindness were topnotch! When we checked out early, the agent wanted to make sure that we did indeed have power and that our home was safe. And despite us checking out past the cancelation time, we were not charged for that night. The staff is simply awesome and your kindness was a light we so desperately needed. The studio room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed was a little too soft. The room was clean and the kitchenette was perfect.

|8.4km from city centerA beautifully immersive third world experience right in Vancouver! Charged for 4 nights at the Vancouver Motel 6 then they cancelled my reservation overnight as I was staying in their hotel. Housekeeping came by in the morning and began pounding on the door and screaming that my partner and I had to leave right then and threatened us with police action even though we explained we were talking to corporate. Corporate was no help whatsoever because apparently Vancouver motel 6 is owned by a different parent company. A company no one will name so I can't get a refund. G6 corporate was uninterested in the fact that they threatened us with police action, corporate was only concerned that they did not have a working phone number. Spent multiple hours on the phone with several different customer service reps as well as supervisors, I called 9723609000, 18005573435, 18003926677, 5037352255, 8338980981, 18004668356. No one would refund me or tell me who the parent company of Vancouver Motel 6 is. Drug deals happened directly in front of both us and staff with no repercussions. Car was being watched so we left nothing inside and it was still being scouted out. Free coffee is only available to staff, within eye sight of the lobby but we were told it was for staff only. Threatened to charge us a late checkout fee while they could hear us talking to corporate about the issue. The manager on staff was only concerned that corporate cared their phone was not working. Had zero empathy or understanding for our situation, only concern for herself and her hotel. Blacklisted us so we could never stay there again in response to her getting in trouble with corporate.

|14.82km from city centerMy partner and I stayed here about a month total over the past two months. This lodging is located on the city and county line between Vancouver and Camas/Skamania county. There is plenty of parking and we never had an issue with our vehicle parked in their lot. The staff is simply outstanding. They are kind, thoughtful, friendly, helpful. Literally, during all of our time there we did not have one even remotely negative interaction with any staff member. Our room, a queen suite, was quite comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen comes equipped with both cooking utensils and eating utensils. Full size fridge, dishwasher, two burner cooktop, and small eating space. There's a desk if you need to work at a desk. Lighting is sufficient. My biggest complaint is that the knife could use upgrading or sharpening. Slicing vegetables was challenging with the knives provided. We used the workout room while we were there and the equipment is kept clean and in good repair. There is also an array of free weights, dumbbells, and two lifting benches. The laundry is FREE!! There are four washers and four dryers and rarely is there a wait time to use the laundry. The facility is kept sparkling clean. Really, of all the places we have stayed across the US, this one is the most well maintained. They even clean out the washers and dryers daily, the workout room is cleaned daily, the common areas are kept spotless. There is a coffee shop more or less in the parking lot and at least three restaurants across the street. The hotel has a mini market on site with a wide variety of items to choose from. The room windows open a limited amount so you can get fresh air in your room. Highly recommend this lodging.

|5.14km from city centerWe arrived in Carla at the desk was so sweet and said she had saved us a room on the 4th floor as we requested. The room was beautiful it was quiet every night. Through our stay we also were delighted to have Natalie helping us with our boarding passes in several questions we had. A couple of days Luke helped us out with laundry detergent in several questions we had for him. They all had beautiful smiles and wonderful attitudes. Everybody at the hotel all the employees were outstanding. But these three employees. Carla Natalie and Luke I want to give an extra shout out to them how much we appreciated them. Sonesta is near everything in Vancouver just blocks from the and several restaurants to choose from. We had dinner at two of them. We will stay there our next trip out to Vancouver Washington for sure. Good job Sonesta in selecting such excellent employees. It really made our stay so wonderful. Thanks again

|1.04km from city centerMy husband and I went to a concert at Ridgefield Amphitheater and checked into The Comfort Suites at about 11pm. This place was pretty bad but especially when you consider we paid $186 per night. The check in was smooth and the guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. Then we got to the room. The soap dispenser was broken, the towel I started to use was filthy, the vent in the bathroom was dirty, there was a bloodstain on the comforter and the chair had some kind cigarette melted burn. I realize there is a shortage of employees in the hospitality industry but to pay almost $200 a night for this was rather shocking.

|9.53km from city centerWe booked this property for four nights on a recent visit to see family. We had booked a king bed room for our stay. The person working the front desk at check-in was new and had clearly not been well trained. The first room she put us in had two beds. We returned to the front desk and requested to be moved to a king bed room. She assigned us another room - and - surprise! - it was another two bed room. Again, we dragged all of our luggage back to the front desk. This time, with assistance from a co-worker, we were finally assigned the correct room. The room we finally ended up in was very dated and not very clean. The couch was ripped and there was hair in the bathroom sink. By this time, after driving 5 hours and being on our third room, we decided to stay put. The front desk staff in general was not very friendly. They rarely greeted us as we came and went from the property over the four nights we were there, even if they were not assisting other guests. The advertised on-site ”restaurant” was a complete joke. It is actually a bar and the only food item available is pizza. The bartender admitted that they only served the pizza so they could call it a restaurant. She also told us the pizza was ”not good”. Needless to say, we did not eat there. There was only one elevator for the property and it was very slow and very small. We are Hilton Honors members and have stayed at many Hilton properties, including other Doubletree properties. This property did not meet our expectations for the Hilton brand. We will definitely not being staying at this property again.

|12.87km from city centerOn a quite corner away from the hustle & bustle of busy streets. Beautiful surrounding. Within walking distance of the Black Bear restaurant. The happy hour bar with food starts at 5pm was great! Thanks Paula for outstanding service! This helped to make our short trip of two days so enjoyable. Ladies at the desk where very accommodating. They do have an indoor pool and hot tub! Nothing to write home about. However, If we ever visit Vancouver again, I would stay here. Very clean Lobby and beautifully decorated.

|8.44km from city centerI was an extended-stay customer. I had some mix-ups with getting my cleaning services performed, but other than that, nearly all (95%) of the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. My dogs were treated well and there were a lot of other dogs at the hotel. The laundry facilities were clean and reasonably priced at $5 for a wash & dry and the location was great, close to food, shopping, restaurants, etc. Any negative issues were generally due to the clientele, the grounds weren't the best kept with garbage, fast food wrappers and foodstuff on the ground, banging and loud noises from other rooms, aggressive dogs, aggressive people, and the sometimes presence of the police. However, after staying 1mo, I extended my stay.

|2.69km from city centerThis was an good hotel overall. The grounds were pretty with nice outdoor seating options. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are in different buildings with lots of exterior stairs. The elevators are hidden out of the way. The rooms were weirdly furnished. You can easily walk to a couple of decent restaurants and a coffee shop. This is not near the downtown area. The breakfast food was really terrible compared to other Homewood Suites.

|5.07km from city centerMy wife and I booked the weekend at this hotel, and it turns out glad we did. The purpose of our trip was shopping in Portland. We have stayed at this hotel before, years ago, and would stay again. The location is just off the main highway, between the 205 and the I5. The access is very easy close to a lot of restaurants/coffee shops to your liking. The hotel is well kept and the staff is very friendly, especially the lady who worked the Friday night shift, and again on Saturday night. The breakfast was great added value, has you pretty much can find anything you might want. the food was good, and the young girl kept the trays stocked. When she wasn't stocking the food, she was cleaning up, never a dull moment for her. The only thing negative to say, wasn't much to do with the hotel, but more to the guests, as we endured almost 2 hours of loud talking at 12:30 on early Saturday morning. The beds were comfortable, but I guess not enough to allow me to quickly get back to sleep.

|1.58km from city centerI want to start off by saying that I am not a motel snob, I have stayed in many dingy places. I have never written a review, but I feel the need to warn others of this place. Firstly when I got here, I found pube looking hair in the bed, it looked like the sheets had not even been washed, they were stained (fresh stains) and they had holes in them. It was disgusting, but thankfully I had a sleeping bag in my so I sucked it up and tried to go to sleep. After about an hour or trying to asleep over the sound of some tweaky people having a yelling match under me, I was finally able to fall asleep. Around 2 am, I was woken up by loud pounding on my door. It startled me, but I figured someone had accidentally knocked on my door and they would go away, but he didn’t. He started pounding on my door and yelling “RICKY F***G LET ME IN MAN I NEED MY BAG!!” My window was open partially due to the extremely strong stench of cigarette, so I could hear outside very well and he could hear me. I was trying not to make any noise because I didn’t want him thinking Ricky was ignoring him so I went and hid in the bathroom. I tip-toed to the door to look and see what kind of guy he looked like and he looked like an unstable addict. He kept yelling and pounding” RICKY F*** LET ME IN”!! He got angrier and angrier and began saying “IF YOU DONT LET ME IN IM GOING TO BREAK THE SCREEN! I didn’t know what to do, I tried yelling that it was the wrong room in a mans voice (I am a young woman alone so I wasn’t trying to have him know that I was alone in there) but he just kept yelling that he was going to break the screen. - [ ] At this point I was extremely frightened so I hid in the bathroom and called the front desk whispering so he wouldn’t hear me and become further antagonized, I asked them to send someone to tell him to go away. The response I got from the hotel was “sorry we won’t do anything about it, questioning me saying “how do we know you don’t know him” i repeatedly told them I didn’t know him, that he was threatening to break into my room at any moment but they didn’t care and were extremely rude to me. I asked them to call the police, in response I was told if I wanted to call the police I should do it myself. - [ ] I called 911, they came just in time. He was saying he was about to break the screen as they arrived. Even after the police were there the guy continued to say “please tell Ricky to let me get my bag. I said I don’t know Ricky, please leave me alone. They told him I don’t know Ricky, but he was angry and confused. The police left, this was around 3:30. I tried to sleep but I was scared he would come back, angry i had called the police on him. I finally got to sleep at 4:30, when I woke up my alarm hadn’t gone off because I had left my charger in the car and I didn’t want to leave my room in case he was still out there. I woke up at 10:45 and the checkout was 11. I called the desk to ask if I could have a 11:15 checkout because of this

Room was clean and looked to be in good order. Everything was neat and looked fairly new. Our two bedroom suite had a rare for Towneplace, and very nice, second bathroom. Kitchen was well-stocked with utensils. Dog friendly too, which is a bonus. Be sure to consider this hotel when in the Portland/Vancouver area.

|8.53km from city centerWhen making our reservation I noted we would need a late checkin. Circumstances changed and we arrived early. Carrie, at the front desk, was very personable and friendly, allowing us to check in early. We had a room on the ground floor. The person in the room above us walked like an elephant but that is not this hotel’s fault. The room was clean, with a/c running (very hot day for Vancouver) and kept the room very cool. There are many homeless on the outskirts of the property but they stay off the property, they never bothered us and I felt safe staying here. The breakfast was good - scrambled eggs, tater tots, link sausage, assorted juices, waffles, yogurt, pastries including assorted bagels, and cereals. There was plenty of seating available in the dining area and it was kept very clean. We will stay here again when we return to visit family again.
