The staff are extremely helpful and entertaining and always looking after us guests with a smile. They always go the extra mile especially the entertainment guys MoMo, Fifi, waiters in restaurant hischam, musa, Abdul Aziz- he is so friendly and welcoming and our room was cleaned and maintained by Laila and upon arrival a lovely romantic welcome for my husband and I with flowers, cake and fruit. Thank you for a lovely stay. The hotel is amazing.

1st time we've been to Tunisia and a Iberostar hotel...the weather wasn't favourable but here goes 1. Transport to the hotel... if you are like us and get a taxi just remember they do not use card payment out here and everything is cash...you should ask for the price before entering the taxi... otherwise use the tour operated bus 2. Weather... it can be very windy and if the sun isn't out the expect low to mid teens 3. Hotel - Iberostar Sousse... 5star (for Tunisia) but otherwise the hotel is great... plenty of very nice pools (2) with a heated pool at the Spa/gym. Right on the beach for long walks along the coast Food... there is a large variation of foods to cater for all at breakfast,dinner and evening meal.. the staff are very attentive and each person has areas to look after.. we were looked after by Bechir and always smiled Drinks... as all inclusive drinks available all day but no sparkling wine (unless prestige) Prestige... exclusive adults only area let down by its size...as once it got warm it filled up quickly Room... we upgraded to Prestige room and the bed was a super kingsize, mini bar, balcony all pretty standard Entertainment... wow what a crew.. things to do everyday & every night.. They we're all happy everytime they saw you and would remeber your names once introduced... hats off to the Entertainment Manager and the crew Really great short break made great by the hotel staff

I have just arrived back to London after spending a week in this amazing hotel. It’s not the facilities that make the hotel 5* it’s the staff. From the security team, reception, cleaners, waiters & entertainers they are so happy to help you. I don’t think In all my travels around the world have I met such lovely people who help with any issue you have. I met a few guests at the hotel who told me they go back every year & now I know why. The food also was very good. My only request would be if you could invest in a larger sauna as this is very small. Thank you for a lovely time & we will be back to visit you again.

Had an amazing trip! First time in Tunisia and never been to a place so welcoming. All the staff are so attentive and friendly, however one person stood out more than others, Akrem! For the entirety of our stay he made us feel so welcome and comfortable and nothing was ever too much for him and seems like he really enjoys his job. The whole country is beautiful and would recommend to anyone a holiday here! Already booked again for September!!

Lovely smiles on arrival with a gorgeous clean smell to the whole hotel. Our cases were taken to our room. The food is is really good. Dinner is better than the breakfast. It's first time I've had to queue for fried eggs at a resort buffet ( please leave a few out for people to grab). The tunisian deep fried ring donuts were uncooked in the middle on the two occasions we tried them and my omelette was under cooked. Dinner on the other hand was perfect with lots of choice and amazing tasting desserts for a buffet. Beds were clean and comfortable- our prestige room was large. We upgraded to Prestige for the hot tubs but they were all switched off and ice cold when we arrived in November. So for that, I'd say it wasnt worth the upgrade. As it was November the Outdoor pools were like ice so we walked across to the spa for a indoor heated swim which was lovely. The sea is just a few steps away and was warmer than the hotel pools. There were lots of flies/bugs by pool loungers (in November) so bring repellent as I had gotten bitten and stung. The main entertainment lounge is classy and has a nice vibe. Use Bolt taxi app (half price of taxi quotes on the street) but make sure your driver's name matches the one who picks you up! I'd like to mention these members of staff who went above and beyond on our stay in November : Larrad ❤️- always has time to stop for a chat. Jalel ❤️- most attentive drinks waiter Ibrahim ❤️ - lifeguard who stops for a chat Moussan ❤️- Most attentive hard working, breakfast waiter. Rico ❤️- always kept our drinks flowing and talked to us. For the price we paid, you can't get much better! It is a 5 star for a Tunisian hotel (4.5 star UK standard)

My Husband and I had a brilliant time. It was our first holiday in Tunisia and we spent 28 nts at this hotel. The Staff were all amazing especially our two Maids Henda and Farida. During our stay it was my birthday and Henda decorated our room beautifully which was a lovely surprise. Good atmosphere, food was great and we met lots of nice people who have been going back to this hotel for years. Found a great place for coffee, Cafe El Medina near the port in plaza la Fontaine. We will book this hotel again. Thanks

A quick 7 days doing nothing. Food was amazing.rooms were vey clean as was the hotel. Staff are soo friendly. My only complaint was we had no hot water in our room for 4 days. We did complain and on day 5 we had hot water. I would definatley return to this hotel.

Stayed here for 9 nights at end of Nov - early Dec. My personal experience was on arrival staff immediately helpful and friendly. Room- Our room was almost ready so staff put our luggage in the hold section and we went for some lunch. Once checked in to the room, faced instant slight issues. Beds were not correct ones we had booked but were quickly amended by room attendant. Room and bathroom both really good size with nice ground floor patio balcony. Towards the evening we noticed our ceiling was leaking. The next day we requested this to be fixed and maintenance did so. Leaking stopped for maybe 45 minutes until started again and then I unfortunately slipped in the puddle. Alerted staff of this and was fixed again. Next day, same issue. Different staff came to fix it and it didn’t leak again. Shame it had to be fixed 3 days in a row before it actually stopped leaking. Aside this, our room was really nice, had everything we needed, had good facilities and our room attendant was absolutely excellent. She catered to all questions and requests asked of and always cleaned our room to the highest standard. Unfortunately cannot remember her name to give out here. Food- This is my personal experience and everyone is different and therefore has different opinions. The food for me was really good when I got there and had many options for different requirements and preferences. I am personally a really fussy eater and there was always something for me to choose. However, after being there for a few days we noticed the food didn’t really change that much. Meats and main dishes changed frequently and they also do a theme in a section of the restaurant every evening, however most foods were the same and were what they had pretty much every night. Desserts were absolutely fantastic. Really looked and tasted high quality and were made to perfection. Unfortunately, the food overall made me incredibly ill and I could not eat a meal without rushing out to the bathroom. This isn’t unusual to me as when I go to other countries I am usually unwell for the first three days, however I have never been so ill for the entirety of my holiday. I was ill for at least 8 of the 10 days that I was there. The last 3 days of my holiday, I was only able to eat mash and French fries for both lunch and dinner, because they were only items that would not make me sick. Most people would say it is ice that is the issue but I did not have any ice and most of the time drank from cans or filtered bottled water. There is a section of the restaurant that also does freshly cooked meats in front of you. One evening, my partner decided to get turkey. He cut this into smaller pieces to find a piece of the turkey almost completely raw. Obviously he did not eat this and left it on the plate. I however do not eat much meats. I only eat chicken. The chicken was nice throughout the holiday but after I started to get sick I went completely vegetarian but remained ill. I then cut out dairy but this d
