Areias Village Beach Suite Hotel

We have just got back from 11 nights at the Areias village . Appartments are really nice cleaned everyday and has everything in you would need for your stay. We stayed in 209 which is on the front. I have to be honest we did here noise from Kiss night club and it doesnt close until 6am so u will have unbroken sleep . Also i didnt expect as many groups of teenagers mind when we left this morning it was more familys . If u are travelling as a family defo go to the oldtown and the Marina. If u dont want to walk far try frankies which is down the street to your right as u come out the hotel staff are lovely and food and drinks are lovely also .If u carry on walking pass frankies u will come to a lovely beach . All in all we had a lovely holiday just next time would go for a hotel closer to the oldtown

Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained and great daily room tidying. Friendly staff. Lovely pool area, ideal for children. Good breakfast, but cooked breakfast slightly limited. Great continental breakfast though..beautiful freshly made pastries and always laid out nicely. Nearest beach is ok..be prepared for a steep walk down back up! Local restaurants weren’t great..other than the local Chinese..all you can eat fab! And you get to order on a tablet! Be aware of lively hotel next door that plays reasonably loud music from 1030am to around 7pm. Nightclub bang opposite!!! And is open till 5am…every morning! All pool facing rooms will most definitely hear the music! The “strip” is far enough away to not be a bother

We booked a last-minute break at this hotel and found it to be excellent value for money. The rooms were clean, with fresh towels provided daily, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool area was clean, well maintained, and a great place to relax. The pool bar was also very good, although drinks were a little on the expensive side. We paid 15Euro (pp) for breakfast one morning and it was nice. The hotel's location is excellent and convenient for local amenities and attractions. Unfortunately, the main downside for us was the noise. Our room overlooked the pool area, and the nearby Kiss Nightclub, located across the road, was extremely loud and woke us up every night. With people leaving the club between 5:00 and 5:30 am, the noise became particularly disruptive. In addition, the neighbouring hotel has a lively entertainment programme with loud music that could easily be heard from our room. Overall, a good hotel with friendly staff, clean facilities, and great value for money, but light sleepers may wish to consider the potential noise levels when choosing a room - or take ear plugs! We had friends who stayed on the other side who didn't hear a thing. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

Stayed at these apartments for a week in August. Apartments are 5 mins from new town strip. Rooms were spotless, beds really comfortable with TV in bedroom and living area. Aircon is excellent. There is no onsite shop. Supermarkets across the road are expensive and limited. There is no entertainment but the music from the apartments next door is extremely loud so can be heard by the pool all day. Soundproof is good so Kiss niteclub across the road wasn’t an issue. Pool bar is expensive €4.10 for a can of coke . Half the Sunbeds are in the shade all day and the pool is fully shaded by 5pm. If you leave the complex and turn right, 5 mins walk to a beautiful little beach . Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean with spacious well maintained rooms. We went bed and breakfast. Breakfast was really good as was the poolside bar. Staff very friendly and the place had a very laid back vibe. We had a room at the back and never had any issues with the nightclub. It’s very close to the new town but we spent most our nights down at the marina or old town. Unfortunately Albufeira is not the laid back resort it once was but the hotel I could not fault at all.

We’ve spent 2 weeks holiday at Areias village and thoroughly enjoyed it . The staff are very friendly and you can tell it’s a family run business they are very proud of . Room - the room was very spacious and cleaned very well everyday Breakfast - I highly recommend the extra cost for the hotel breakfast . Lots of choice buffet style Pool area - lovely clean pool , it’s larger than it looks on photos but the only fault is there is not enough shade. Location - the location is good , it’s between the old town and the strip . There’s a beautiful restaurant called Frankie’s a 2 minutes walk away . Turn right out of the hotel and it’s there on the right . Serves great food , staff are so friendly and has a ABBA night , Elvis night and queen tribute night on some nights too . Highly recommend Frankies . Just a thought - it’s a shame the hotel doesn’t offer half board but if you’re looking for a great b n b then I think this may well be the best in the area .

We had a fabulous time, the hotel was lovely and clean the rooms are really spacious and the balconys are huge! The reception staff we lovely and so helpful nothing was too much...on our 1st night there were a group of lads shouting in the reception area which they soon sorted! The bar staff......this for us was the only let down! They are so slow and cracking a smile must be painful! They weren't rude as such but certainly made you feel bad asking them for a drink or food! Overall we would stay again!

Booked this via Jet2 very last minute. So pleasantly surprised when we arrived. From reception staff and throughout our stay it was simply wonderful. Accommodation is fantastic for self catering and has everything that you need. Comfortable clean space that seems like home from home. Pool area is clean with comfortable sunbeds. We found the supermarkets close by quite expensive so it is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest one and 20mins to Aldi. There is also an amazing little beach to your right as you leave the hotel with a lovely little restaurant. Great base for catching the tourist train into the old town but again this is not a long walk. Would certainly return to these apartments if coming back to Albuferia. However, note it may be noiser in the summer if the Kiss nightclub is open.

Fantastic hotel — spotless rooms, amazing staff, great location and value. Everything was smooth, relaxing, and better than expected. Brilliant amenities. Not noisy. We had a bottle of wine and coffee pods waiting on us upon arrival. Highly recommend. We had the best time and we will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
