"A very nice apartment: spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped, quiet, and secure. The grounds are lovely and well-maintained, and there are two beautiful swimming pools. The only drawback is its location, which isn't specified in the listing. The complex is situated on a hill, making access somewhat difficult, far from activities, and with no nearby public transportation. It's accessible by taxi and tuk-tuk. The nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk away, as is the supermarket! The price is a bit high considering the location, and a daily shuttle service at certain times would be beneficial. It's a very pleasant place for a relaxing holiday, but the city center, with its lively atmosphere, is also nearby."

"Room was very clean and nice. 😊 They have their own parking lot however you have to pay for that 5€/day. We were so excited for Sauna but the Sauna/Stem was actually not hot at all so, we couldn’t enjoy sauna. 😔 That was the highlight to book this hotel tbh. I got really disappointed. ☹️ Another thing was, there was NO Drinking WATER ⚠️😩 who caries water while traveling. Or at least mention this in the detail page so we carry some for the night. Overall was okay. Hope this helps."

"The room was much bigger than we first expected. Not the room type we were expecting but the room seemed to be upgraded with a larger bed and room size. Liked how the hotel embrace sustainability by having wooden room cards and paper made hangers, my friend and I really enjoyed the stay without the kids' noises. The swings on 5th Floor were quite fun, so as the sunbathing area on 6th floor. Sound cancellation was superb as the hotel locates at the noisest area of Albufeira but we cannot hear any music when we stepped into the room. Otherwise, there's two entrance which can get you to different part of Albufeira, therefore overall it is very convenience. Will look forward to visit the hotel again."

"We stayed at W Residences Algarve in November 2025 and had an amazing experience. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly and the apartment was spacious and beautifully designed, with a lovely terrace and a well-equipped kitchenette. The property itself is large and stunning, with great facilities. The gym was also ver Y good — well-equipped and a pleasure to work out in. We also loved the bar with its modern interiors and vibrant vibe. The location is fantastic, surrounded by plenty of cafés and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay — easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Europe."

"We arrived at this hotel expecting to check in, only to be told last-minute that we couldn’t stay there because someone had “trashed the room.” No prior notice, no apology — just confusion. The receptionist couldn’t have cared less. He moved slowly, offered no real explanation or support, and honestly looked like he didn’t even want to be there. Zero effort to make things right. We were told we’d be moved to another hotel within the same franchise — further away from everything we’d planned. It felt like they were just passing the problem on. One of the worst parts? The hotel advertises a pool as one of its main amenities, but according to the receptionist at the second hotel, this property doesn’t even have a pool. That’s outright false advertising. Overall, the experience was a complete mess. The lack of communication, unprofessional staff, and misleading marketing make this a hotel I would never consider booking again. Avoid it!!!"

"So we were in our room, we had to leave at 11am to do the check out, but no one called to the room or know on the room so we really tought that we could stay longer. Then in the middle of nowhere, the receptionist a lady of older age enters in the room without knowing and starts screaming that we should have left at 11am, it was 13pm. She was super and there was no need to act like that, what if we were naked or pooping ? We will never came back."

"Apartment no. 40 top floor 4 flights of 8 stairs, sea view Last minute 2 night stay location short walk to the beach and the strip, 2 single beds, decent size TV (if needed) kitchenette small but has what you need (has small cups, I need a decent size mug of tea in the morning) also came with washing up kit, sponge cloth and washing up liquid Bathroom, has complimentary hand gel and shower gel (empty) stall, laundry basket very large mirror plus a close up shaving mirror, 2 small bath towels, 2 hand towels and bath mat, hair dryer ( didn't use it) £25 per night (march 9th & 10th) , bad points : only 3 pillows and thin bedding no blankets in room air conditioner need a good clean and rooms need repainting(paint around air con and fireplace flaking off) shower gel was empty"

Staff were variable from lovely to extremely rude for tourist workers. Housekeeping was also variable. Reasonable but not a luxury stay and not really worth the money."

"We arrived at the hotel and were well received by the lady at reception. The room was nicely tidied, although some things needed maintenance or even replacement. We went to the restaurant for dinner; the buffet cost €57 for two people, but the quality of the food and the variety of the buffet was very poor compared to the price."

"I don’t recommend this hotel very much. The rooms are very dirty and the facilities are too old and severely aged. I don’t know what kind of stains are on the pillowcases on the bed. The waiter who called me changed them as if nothing had happened. When I opened the curtains, there were stains all over the floor. The gray and hair are so disgusting, the dark corridors are eerie and weird, the breakfast is terrible and there are very few varieties, and I feel bad living here. The hotel was being renovated every day during my stay, and the swimming pool was closed. The price/performance ratio is super low."

"Very poor hotel for the price it was. Uncomfortable bed, shower has almost no pressure, few sunbeds for the number of people the hotel has capacity, very grumpy staff. I had some friends who left some belongings in my room and the gentleman who was there in the morning was not letting them in to go get their belongings, then he let one of them go upstairs and after 5 minutes he went up to the room and ENTER saying he has to go down. I left an important belonging at the hotel and they were not able to go and check if they found it at the place where I mentioned it on the phone."

Completely lied to us about what was open regarding food and drink, even though various restaurants etc stated they would be open weren’t, when complained to the reception we were told to “read the small print”! We were here to celebrate our anniversary and was left totally disappointed and lied to Avoid at all costs!"
