I was initially denied a room and asked to cancel the ******* booking although I had paid for it using ******* with my and my wifes credit card and had proper identification. Front desk was requiring me to cancel ******* booking and pay full price. Front desk attendant repeatedly said she should have canceled my booking right away. A call to ******* appeared to be blocked. Wife had to call ******* to resolve problem. This took two hours while I waited becoming hypoglycemic without my medication. While a migrain headache was incapacitating me being held without a room, a homeless transient was allowed to be slumped over a dining table in the lobby/breakfast room. This person earlier was trying to bum a smoke from me at the gas station. This motel should be dropped from *******. Because of this ordeal, I had less than two hours of sleep while driving 1250 miles. It completely ruined my travels. My safety and the safety of others was compromised because of a booking with ******* for a discount. I am asking for compensation. This must not happen to anyone else.
