"This hotel was fantastic. The retro look and attention to detail in the rooms made this hotel an enjoyable experience. The staff was super friendly, the pool was very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The price was also fantastic. If you are on the fence about booking, do it, as you won't be disappointed."

"Wifi does not work…. Phone do not … Only one elevator in the front, so if they give you a room in the back building. You have to carry your bags upstairs. There were still eaten food in the garbage can when I got this new room .  there’s a sign in the parking lot. “manager does not responsible for thief and stolen goods.” Front desk does tell you to park your car where your window can see your own car to watch over . Sad ! I felt very unsafe and did not sleep all night . The door frame with the safety hinge was broken, l mean the entire piece of doorframe was off the door with the hinge . Wi-Fi did not work at all . Would not want to return to this hotel that’s a customer . Thumbs down.."

"First issue is the $7 parking fee not disclosed when you make a reservation. I don't like the BS of just mentioning it at check in when you don't have another option for hotel. What are you supposed to do? Oh sorry, I wont pay that and sleep in my rental car. You made the reservation and should of been notified. Secondly, there is no reason in that an employee cannot understand a guest question because you're too lazy to learn even a few syllables of english. Also its not located in Old Town, Albuquerque. Lots of homeless wander that area so beware. Seems like all of that area has the same problem, even the expensive places. We would have skipped visiting altogether had we done our research. That's on us. The ridiculous crime rate and amount of drug users in NM will result in no more visits from us. They need to get their judicial house in order, I visited as a kid and there's a night and day difference between then and now. Near old town it seriously resembles the zombie apocalypse."

It is a good choice in a city like Albuquerque. Don't stay in the city center. It is too dangerous. The hotel near the airport is safe and convenient. You can go out at night. It is not like the city."

"El Verde is a nice, quaint hotel. It has a lot of really pretty decorations which really lets the charm shine through. Much better than staying in a generic hotel. The room was filled with amenities including robes, slippers, and delicious piñon coffee. The courtyard was a highlight as well with good views of the landscape and a nice place to sit and visit with family and friends. They also have fire pits which seemed like they would be nice on a cold day. Above all the staff were outstanding. Helpful, caring, and very accommodating they helped with all requests while lodging. A lovely stay with extraordinary staff make El Verde a great choice."
