A lovely setting in a pleasant village. Reception was very friendly and our room was very good, looking out over the garden, although perhaps a little dark. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant but one has to walk outside to get to it (and it was raining). The only disappoin**ent was the breakfast, soulless, very little choice, poor machine drinks etc. It was a pity to leave with that memory!

We had a great evening as a couple at the restaurant. the food was excellent, the service attentive and pleasant and the decor superb. However, it seems to me that the establishment no longer has the class that gave it its charm a few years ago. No reception, no cloakroom so that coats, anoraks, raincoats are piled up on the empty chairs in the restaurant. We had the impression of having returned to the brasserie level with little relation to the prices. However, we are happy with our evening and are thinking of returning, hoping that our few comments will be taken into account.
