Homewood Suites by Hilton Athens Downtown University Area

The bathtub needs some kind of bath mat or something non stick inside tub! Thank goodness for the handles cause that’s what saved me from falling all the way into the tub because the bottom of tub was so slick!! Not a good thing for someone that just got a total knee replacement three months ago!! Do Better!! The shower curtain was ripped! Very tacky! Breakfast had nice choices!

The hotel was good but I was very shocked at the price. They must’ve really raised the rate the weekend that I stayed because there was something going on at the university. I was kind of stuck. I had no really other options. The hotel elevator was broken and they said it was his Brown broken for about a month. So we ended up having to use the stairs a lot of the time. Parking was horrible even though they gave us a pass to get into a garage. Very hard to find parking in it that was very limited. We were at a wedding and came home late and had trouble finding a spot. But the staff there was very good. My daughter dropped a charm down the sink. It was very special to her as it contained her father‘s ashes and his thumbprint. And his coming up on the one in your anniversary since he was killed in the line of duty and she was having a complete meltdown and this happened in five minutes before we were supposed to leave for the wedding. The staff came up immediately and helped to take apart the sink and get the charm for her. To that I will forever be grateful the hotel itself was clean, but just average for what they charge me a night. The staff was excellent and couldn’t ask for nicer people.

Conveniently located right near the Classic Center. Easy walk to many restaurants and shopping. I am sure it is a party scene during Georgia Football games but for my stay, was very quiet. Breakfast had a nice selection, but did have to ask for silverware. Ran out of coffee as well, had to wait for a refill. Room was very spacious.

Location is great. Staff was amazing. Elevator was broken, glasses were dirty in room.

Convenient location to University of GA, theater, and food. Modern and CLEAN! Very welcoming, and an extensive breakfast buffet with multiple protein options. Wonderful place to stay! Parking was easy and close. I only wish they would have listed the $18 parking fee in advance!

Location and breakfast were excellent. The interior of the hotel was out of date, and the cost was too high. The biggest disappointment was the lukewarm shower that I took.

The vibes are truly great. The staff was kind and helpful, the game room enabled me to bond with my friends til 1 am, and the breakfast is always welcome. ＜3 The place also looked very nice, and was very clean!

The entire staff from the front desk, bar, etc., was excellent! Keep up the great work!
