Excellent one night stay on our road trip in Namibia. Lovely welcome and good dinner and breakfast. Lots of choice for vegetarians Lovely and quiet location , very friendly and accommodating restaurant staff.. Wild horses of Luderitz are not far from here

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations- the room was spacious and had all the amenities you’d need, the pool gorgeous, the bar deck was great serving ice cold drinks, and the a la carte meal was possibly the best we had in Namibia, served with perfect rose wine! Divine.

What an oasis in an arid region. Wonderful facilities. Do note that there is no power - which did not worry us due to having a solar system. The swimming pool was an added bonus in the heat.

We stayed at a campsite at Klein-Aus. We were very pleased with the scenery and the nice walks around the site. The state of the bathroom facilities was excellent.

What a beautiful place to stay. Spent the day watching the horses, exploring the ghost town and Ludertiz. The campsites are well spaced and ablutions clean. The main reception, shop and restaurant was amazing and a lovely pool to cool off. Highly recommend this gem.

We had a very pleasant stay at the desert horse inn. Akkomodation is very nice and can recommend dinner. Would have stayed longer in the bar in the evening after dinner if they would have closed the doors after sunset and lit the fire to make it cosier since there was a cold wind all the time during our stay. Camp places are well maintained and quite some possibilities for activities as Mountainbiking, well signed hikings , visiting desert horses ... Had some nice conversations with Giraux about photographing etc but unfortunately forgot to exchange details so would be nice if he could contact me.

We had a great experience when camping at Klein Aus Desert Lodge. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I will certainly recommend this lodge.

Desert Horse Camp Site is perfectly positioned for all things to do in the Aus/Luderitz area. Our camping was very comfortable and nice that there are limited sites making it a pleasant stay. A bonus is being able to use the facilities of the lodge for a refreshing swim!
