Eldora Mountain Overview
Eldora is ski, snowboard, AT, XC, and snowshoe friendly! Eldora boasts Colorado’s best snowmaking system. Coverage is 100% of groomed terrain, more than any other resort in Colorado! The base area of Eldora has an elevation of 9,200 feet above sea level. Top elevation is 10,600 feet. The most difficult trails at Eldora can be found off the Corona lift – enjoy double black diamond glades with steeps, cliffs, gullies, and more!
Eldora is only 21 miles from Boulder and 47 miles from Denver. Eldora has 680 acres of skiable terrain. 👉Parking
SINGLE-OCCUPANCY VEHICLE (SOV) FEE
Boulder County requires Eldora to collect a $10 fee from single-occupancy vehicles (SOVs) on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and holiday periods, and weekdays with 10 or more inches of new snow.
Eldora may also decide on its own, to charge SOV fees on certain other days to be determined, as operationally necessary, in order to reduce SOV arrivals, manage traffic inflow, and conserve parking.
On SOV fee days, parking is FREE for vehicles with two or more occupants. Vehicles with three or more occupants are considered HOVs and may utilize premium up-front HOV parking near the Alpenglow chairlift on a first-come, first-served basis.
HIGH-OCCUPANCY VEHICLE (HOV) PARKING
The westernmost section of Eldora’s parking lot, known as Elk Lot, will be reserved for vehicles with three or more people. HOVs may park here on a first-come, first-served basis.
The HOV parking zone provides convenient access to our Alpenglow chairlift and Eldora’s lodges. When the HOV zone is full, HOVs will be parked in any available space elsewhere in our lots.

Eldora's rental shop is located in the base area, in the Indian Peaks Lodge. Their close proximity to snow allows for a quick and easy rental/return process, without the hassle of loading equipment in and out of vehicles. With the ability to adjust boot sizing and remedy any equipment issues on the spot, it's the best option for a seamless rental process.

The on-mountain Indian Peaks Shop offers a large selection of outerwear, accessories, ski and snowboard boots, as well as a full alpine ski and snowboard rental shop. Here you can shop a wide range of brands before hitting the slopes. The recently renovated location showcases all Eldora and Woodward logo apparel, amazing winter closeouts on demo gear, our Tune Center, as well as daily lift tickets. Walk in with street clothes and walk out ready to hit the slopes, in style!
