Wir waren mehrmals im Monarch Hotel und zufrieden. Diesmal nicht. Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte ich zumindest einen freundlichen Gästeservice ; der ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Ein paar Beispiele: die Sonne scheint; die Liegen drausen; Tische und Stühle werden nicht trocken gewischt. Meine Bitte nach einem Lappen wurde mit das ist nicht unsere Aufgabe sondern vom Housekeeping. Ich bin an die Rezeption; da wurde mir gesagt; das lohnt sich nicht; es ist Regen angesagt. Im Spa Beteich gibt es keine Gratishandtücher zum Wechseln; der Wechsel kostet 1 Euro. Im Zimmer liegt pro Person ein Handtuch für den Pool Bereich. Mir langt das nicht wenn ich auch in die Sauner gehe. Es stand an der Üoolbar immer Wasser und Äpfel zur Verfügung. Die Äpfel gibt es nicht mehr. Als ich an der Rezeption ein Ferdback über die nicht mehr gratis Handtücher geben wollte. bekam ich als Antwort; wenn ich mit einem Billiganbiezet buche; kann ich nicht mehr erwarten. Dazu ist zu sagen; ich hatte es versucht über die Hotelhomepage und keine Antwort erhalten. Wir hatten hochpreisige Zimmer dann über einen Reiseanviezer gebucht. Die Zimmer stehen erst ab 16 Uhr zur Verfügung; wir konnten eine Stunde früher rein. Das Essen ist ok; aber nicht sehr einfallsreich. Das Nachspeisenbüffet besteht immer aus 3 Puddings; wir sls Diabetiker haben nur 1 x auf mehrfache Bitte etwas Käse bekommen. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist gut und reichlich. Die Zimmer; such unsere unsere Suite ist auch in die Jahre gekommen. Die Bilder und Duschen sind sehr abgenutzt und gar nicht mehr sauber zu bekommen Wellnessbereich sind ebenfalls die Duschen die Böden abgenutzt dreckig und teilweise Schimmel in den Ecken. Wir sind schon etliche Jahre Gäste in diesem Haus und haben bisher diese Dinge einfach übersehen, da der Service einfach freundlich , nett und sehr persönlich war. Es kommt mir vor als hätte der Hotelbesitzer gewechselt und jetzt geht es nur noch darum mit möglichst wenig Aufwand möglichst viel Geld zu verdienen. Es ist bedauerlich ,aber wir werden hier nicht mehr unseren Urlaub verbringen . Wir waren fünf Tage in dem Haus und können das wirklich gut beurteilen, Positiv kann man sagen ; das Hallenbad ist schön warm mit 32 Grad das Außenbecken hingegen mit 19 Grad für mich nicht mehr geeignet. In den letzten Jahren hat man bereits gesehen dass dem Haus nicht mehr viel Geld zur Verfügung stand um Renovierungsarbeiten durchzuführen. Dafür hat der Service aber gestimmt. Beides jetzt einzusparen ist der falsche Weg.
