The hotel facilities themselves are very good. In order to match the name of Bala, you can feel the feeling of finishing in the mansion. The courtyard is also very wide, you can take a simple walk, and the swimming pool is also open in summer. However, there is no shuttle bus in winter, so if you take a taxi from the central station to Villa Olmi, you have to pay about 25 euros. If you rent a car, if you bring a car to the city, the parking fee will be quite high. Villa Olmi's room is not big, but the bathroom is spacious and well maintained. It's a lovely villa, so it's a good place for travelers with cars that need more relaxation than Florence sightseeing.

In many ways this hotel was ideal for us, it wasn't right in the city center where all the noise is, but it was close enough to it (about half an hour's walk to the train station with a suitcase and bags). The hotel staff was excellent, very kind and respectful with lots of good and efficient advice. The room was spacious enough and clean and we didn't lack anything. One weak point was for us and it was the bed which was a double bed but, it was connected by two mattresses, and an air conditioner that worked but made a lot of noise. In conclusion, if you don't mind walking to the city center (I strongly recommend everyone to walk and not use public transport, there is a lot to see on the way :) ) And you are looking for the hotel staff to be nice, polite, experienced, know the surroundings and know how to give you tips, this is the hotel check for you. We visited Hu Camping because it had the services we wanted whilst being really close to Florence. Check In could not have gone any easier. Really polite staff. We asked to upgrade our mobile home but there were none available until the end of the week. So we didn't bother. We drive to our home and noticed it was clean and well maintained. There were people gardening, cleaning all the time. Got to the mobile home and things were not ideal, utensils missing and a ladder to the bunk bed. We went to reception to ask about the missing things and the majority of what we needed was sent to us within an hour with huge apologies. It was an older mobile home but it was clean and ready for us to put our feet up. Having two bathrooms was really good with a family of 5. It was 37°C outside and the air conditioning worked well. We took a fan with us so it moved the air around a bit more. But we left it on during the day, with the interior doors open and the rooms were nice and cool. We used the restaurant, the service was really good and they were busy. It's a good idea to book. We had booked for 9pm and a couple were ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, they asked for a table and were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes. The food was tasty and fresh. Not overly expensive, considering some places nearby or other European cities. We used both pools, the kids one was a little cold but my boys (8, 13, 15) didn't care. Around the pool was clean and well maintained, there was enough shade if needed and a lovely olive grove section away from the pool for lots of shade. The pool bar was well equipped and the staff were friendly. The main pool was busy but people still had space to throw a ball or jump in. It's not there for doing lengths. The onsite shop was fine, it's not big, so we used it when we had to, otherwise there was a decent sized Coop not too far from the site (driving distance). The other bits were good, bike hire (although get there early), laundry services were great, the volleyball/football pitch needs updating but it was fine. The location is just outside the city. There was a bus to the centre from the campsite but we didn't use it. We drove and parked in underground parking in the city. All very easy. I had preconceptions about how it was going to be but I was really surprised with how good it was. And the staff were really polite and helpful. I would happily go back to visit it again.

Very very beautiful hotel, the third time to visit Florence, this time with my father-in-law, find this hotel is really happy, but need to be convenient for driving, there is a parking lot downstairs, very good, very good parking, breakfast is awkward, Great, and fruity

We had an amazing stay here, we felt very safe here and the staff are so friendly!! The breakfast is amazing and so close to the centre (15 mins) and amazing bars and restaurants nearby! We would recommend this place to anyone- absolutely ideal for couples and families !! I think would be even better if the pool was able to be used.

Completely exceeded expectations, booked four-star, five-star hotel all the way, I didn't expect the most amazing thing is this B&B, my wife didn't want to go directly, I have to stay for one more night, but unfortunately there is no room. Turning to the point, very rich Tuscan style architecture, cost-effective beyond imagination, clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, convenient parking and free. Experience the best choice of Tuscan country style. Stay here for a week next time, highly recommended!

I took my whole family of 12 to Florence Italy and stayed at the Villa La Massa. It is close to the city and and located on the river Arno. The facilities are amazing and they have recently added a fantastic new pool and adjacent Bistro. They have facilities for all ages. The restaurants are fabulous and the staff very attentive. The chef visited our table and can prepare special meals upon request. The views of the countryside and the river while you enjoy your meal is breathtaking. We partook in cooking classes and Spa treatments which I highly recommend. We also did guided tours of Florence including visits to the Ufizzi and Academia to se the famous statue of David. All of our activities were arranged by Tamar Trambusti at the Villa La Massa including transportation, tours, Spa treatments, cooking classes, museum tickets, dinner reservations at the Villa and in town. Tamara Trambusti did a fantastic job of making our visit to the Villa La Massa a trip of a lifetime. My husband and I just returned from a week at this beautiful wine and olive oil small luxury resort and give our experience five stars! The setting, accommodations and amazing personable staff made our trip something we will always cherish. Gloria helped me plan the our stay six months prior to our arrival and guided us to local tours and activities. They arranged taxi's for our trips in to Florence and were flexible in helping us when our plans change unexpectedly. The restaurant staff were all friendly and welcoming and the dinner and lunch menu's was delicious. We toured the small winery on the property and sampled the olive oils and wines in the small tasting room. The villa was a former nunnery has a wonderful history and the ancient stone building around the property are impressive and blend in beautifully into the Tuscan landscape. Impruenta is the local village walking distance from the resort and we participated in their weekend market and church service which was very special. The small size of the resort made us feel like part of their family and we so look forward to returning on our next Tuscany adventure.

We chose this ”hotel” as it was in the countryside just outside of Florence. A small reception but the reception staff spoke good English and was efficient. The room we were given opened into a small (childs) room first which was furnished with a small wrought iron bed with no windows. The main bedroom had a very small window which looked out onto the Tuscan countryside. The bed was old and lumpy and needs replacing. The bathroom also had no window and is old fashioned. The Wifi did not work (we connected in the reception but as soon as you got back to your room, it disconnected). Also the TV did not work. The lady at reception came to look at it for us but said the maintenance guy had gone home. We had dinner in the restaurant which was nice and very Tuscan. It is not part of the hotel and is run separately. The biggest problem for us was the noise. Whilst it is not the fault of the hotel if their guests are noisy, we had a family above us and we could hear every word, laughter, screams, TV, toilet flush, kids thumping and running etc. This also continued during the night at all hours. Breakfast was the highlight. It is served in a separate annex to the hotel across the road. The buffet (covid buffet) was served to us and consisted of hot and cold food, fruit, pastries, etc. Of course lots of Italian coffee. As we were there in November the pool was closed but we could imagine this an idyllic spot in the summer. Shame about the Wifi and TV.
