Please reach out if any clarification is needed. Please remember that you will be staying at a home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If you encounter any problems, I'll do my best to address it ASAP. I'm a remote host and will not be available for any in-person interaction. ===========================================================FAQ:====Q1: What do you provide in the kitchen?A1: Basic utensils, cutlery and other items featured in the photos.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q2: Do you provide cooking essentials such as cooking oil or a spice rack?A2: There are canisters filled with single serve packets of sugar, salt and pepper available for guest use on the kitchen counter. However, no cooking oil or spice racks are provided. I'm not a fan of leaving any open/used bottles for guests whose contents I cannot personally verify before guest check in. Its safer for everyone that way. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q3: What's a good place for groceries and cooking essentials nearby?A3: Food4Less is a short drive away from home and is a great grocery store. They are open from 5a to midnight.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q4: What else can guests expect?A4: * Housekeeping makes sure to line all waste baskets with fresh liners each time. (Kitchen, bathrooms, grill area)* Spare trash bag liners are also left for guest use along with dishwasher pods, laundry essentials, paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls.* In addition, a couple of courtesy coffee filters and sachets are provided.* Plenty of towels in each of the bathrooms. Housekeeping usually leaves 12-16 fresh towels in circulation for guest use. In addition, you're welcome to use the washer/dryer for your laundry needs.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q5: What do you provide with the pool, ping pong and foosball tables?A5: * The pool table is an 8ft table and has 3+ regular cue sticks, 2 junior cue sticks, chalk and racks for 8 ball and 9 ball. And also an extension stick. * For ping pong, there are 4 paddles (basic ones) provided along with a few ping pong balls. Depending on the prior guest usage, there might be a few or no ping pong balls since housekeeping does not replace them. I do my best to ensure they are stocked, but there is always a chance that there might be too few or none.* If you're an avid ping pong player, I would advise bringing your own ping pong paddles.* Foosball table has 2 regulation size white textured tournament quality balls. The attached electronic scoreboard with timer can be turned on to keep track of score. * Do not attempt to move any of these tables from their setup location.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q6: What if I have a problem with any of the amenities during my stay?A6: As as host, I'm committed to ensuring you have a pleasant stay. But, of course there are times when unanticipated things happen. If any advertised amenity is unusable for any reason (except weather related or other external factors), I'll be happy to credit you up to a maximum of $75/night of your stay if I'm not able to suitably address it.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q7: Can you elaborate on how the security cameras get used during a guest's stay?A7: As noted, there are security cameras at all outdoor vantage points. The cameras are on 24/7. The cameras are not actively monitored but do record to the cloud whenever motion is detected. I greatly respect guest privacy and you have my full assurance of that. Upon request, I'm happy to furnish a snapshot of the images I see on my end if it helps with your decision making or helps put your mind at ease. As a remote host, usage of security cameras is the only way for me to secure the property.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q8: Is the pool heated? How to control the spa heating?A8: The pool is not heated. The spa and other functions (lighting) are controlled via a remote available inside the house. Its pretty straightforward to use and all the buttons are labeled.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q9: Any restrictions on spa usage?A9: The biggest ask of guests is only that it be used responsibly. i.e., be mindful to turn it off after use. Do not leave it running when you are not at home or leave kids unsupervised. Based on PG&E guidelines, there is a recommended window of usage (>7a and <11p) and 5 hours/day of total use. While I don't wish to be imposing, there is a surcharge if the guidelines are not followed. I can assure you that as long as you are a responsible user and take care of the property as you would, your own (i.e., turn off equipment when done) there is nothing to worry about. At the same time, leaving the spa running overnight is a definite no-no and will result in cancelation of your reservation.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q10: Can I use the pool and spa fountains?A10: Yes. There are blowers in the pool and the spa area that can be controlled individually. The pool has a total of 5 fountains - 2 in the shallow area (under water) and 3 in the deep end (above water). In addition, there are 4 deck jets that can be used as well. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q11: What are some great to visit spots around the area and how far are they?A11: Here are some of the major ones.- Yosemite National Park (57mi / 1 hr 10 min)- China Peak (ski resort) (60mi / 1 hr 15 min)- Millerton Lake (10mi / 14 min)- Shaver Lake (38mi / 49 min)- Fresno Yosemite Airport (9mi / 15 min)- Fresno Chaffee Zoo (15mi / 19 min)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q12: Will there be garage door openers for guest use?A12: No, there are no garage door remotes/openers for guest use. It quite literally the item most guests forget to replace after use. Garage doors have to be operated from the inside. There is no code access either to the garages.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------About pets:Pets allowed: limit 2 total.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 18.About events:No events allowed.
