OYO 483 Pannee Hotel Khaosan

It was convenient because it was close to Khao San Street and access to Wat Peng Po and the Royal Palace was good. The drawback is that the subway station is a little far away, but if you use apps such as Via Bus to enter the bus stop in front of the Democratic Memorial Tower as a standard and act on the bus, there is no particular inconvenience. There is a school in front of the hotel, which is quiet and relaxing at night. (See photo: atmosphere in front of the hotel) The front desk was able to respond in English. Cleaning and amenities need a little attention. First of all, it seems that the hotel does not have a spare key, so if you want to enter the cleaning, please be careful not to open the key or return it to the front desk and forget it. Also, as it may happen, there were no amenities such as toothbrushes and combs at this stay, and a shower cap and free bottled water were prepared. However, I think it will not be a big problem because I have prepared additional towels when I forgot to return the key, and I sell toothbrushes at 7-Eleven next door. There is also a good piano at the entrance and I think it is a good hotel with a good atmosphere.

The best hostel ever. The staff was amazing. Bad and KT were so kind and they helped me and my friend a lot. It’s a very social hostel for backpackers. Everything is clean, the rooms are a descent size as well. The hostel is close to many of the temples. If you want to go clubbing it’s not far from khao San road.

Disadvantages: 1. The height of the room is very low, probably no more than 2.2m (almost palms can touch the top when standing). 2. The hotel is old: 3) There is even a charge for bottled water (the weather is still hot), and there are no slippers. 4. The surrounding area is rather dilapidated and inconvenient. 5. No breakfast. I have stayed in 5 different hotels in Bangkok in a row and the difference is too big. Personally, I think it is more appropriate for this hotel to score lower than 4 (using my other hotels as a reference). Advantages: There is a temple next to the hotel. There is also a Jinshan Temple a few hundred meters away that is worth seeing. Friendly staff

We had a King Room with balcony for two nights here. The room was really comfortable. Big bed, good quality linens, good sofa and the shower was nice and comfortable. The balcony with view over the canal was good to have and we sat out there watching a storm and was able to stay nice and dry. Breakfast was ok but nothing amazing. The rooftop pool area was a nice place to chill out though the pool did look a little murky. Location is great, close enough to the main sights and lots of restaurants and bars within a 10/15 minute walk. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for one night on the recommendation of a friend, hoping to stay longer. It is located near the monument to democracy, behind the hotel restaurant of the same name. The bedroom is large, clean and modern, and the shower is good. We slept well and it was quiet in the city at night. Staff are smiling, warm and attentive, and do a lot for you. Great value for money. Highly recommended. We didn’t try their restaurant next door but it looked good and guests get 20% discount.

This hotel and staff is an absolute oasis. I have been going to this hotel with my wife for 16 years. And I wouldn't change a thing. It's within walking distance to many major sites, but far enough off the beaten track to be a peaceful respite from the city. The accommodation was much better than what they charged. I usually choose a budget hotel because I'm not there that much when I travel. This was billed as a budget hotel but offered much more. The rooms were clean, the people were wonderful and very helpful, the breakfast was served at the table, tasty and plentiful. The plants and trees added a tropical atmosphere. I can't recommend this hotel more, except to say ”don't book any day trips online - book them through this hotel”, they were much cheaper here than online. When I come back to Bangkok, and I will, I will stay here and only here.- As a final note: The lovely owner Sourire, she speaks many languages so you can feel comfortable with her.
