Disney's Beach Club Resort

It’s absolutely beautiful Food is great Very clean and the staff is wonderful

Here now, checked in yesterday to the Beach club resort. Booked for 800.00 a nite the deluxe room since it was a bigger room. They gave us a handicapped room. But riom in poor condition. The electric socket in the bathroom is falling apart. Chipped mirror. The main light does not turn on. The handicapped door does not work. And childs ball left on the balcony. The chairs on balcony dirty. We had to wash them off. Asked for more towels and no one came yesterday. Today I complained to front desk. Yet nothing was done yet. Save your money and spend your 800 on a nice non disney hotel.

First, we loved our stay- April 2024! Tatiana at the front desk added a ton of picie dusk to our stay! Our room was big, great view, and perfectly clean! Each staff person went over and beyond to make sure we felt valued and magical! The only negative is that the wall are thin. We could hear our neighbors, but it wasnt disruptive. The food at Cape May Cafe did not match the resort. It was awful- cold, unkept buffet! When we told the manager Colin he only gave is lip service! This is not what we expect from Disney! Stay at this amazing resort- do not go to Cape May Cafe! on anotjer note the clam chowder at the little store is hot and delish! This was my favorite treat at $4.00.

This is a lovely resort with fun a fun beachy theme. You cannot beat the quick and easy access to Epcot. The pool complex is huge and families with kids will love it. Room was clean and cast members were all very friendly. Would absolutely stay again.

This is my 3rd stay at Beach Club. We stayed all 3 times because of its location to Epcot/DHS. The ability to walk into Epcot and ride the Skyliner to DHS can’t be beat. Bus to MK and AK. Our room (3664) was huge with 2 queens but no sofa. The WORST part of the room was the “STANDING BALCONY”. I had requested a large balcony to sit and enjoy our morning coffee. It also overlooked the roof of the entrance. The black-out curtains in this room were the best I have ever seen in a hotel. Our last visit to BC we were in a room beside the quite pool and the lights shown in the room around the blinds all night. Only ate apps in the bar which were just ok. Sadly, probably will stay at BWI next trip. All rooms have “sitting balconies” at BWI. Also have stayed at Swan and Dolphin which are very nice with same benefits and usually less $$. Got a “return to the magic” discount code which made BC less this trip.

Stayed here for the runDisney Princess 10K weekend with two friends and we had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and overlooked the courtyard and part of the pool area. Couldn't believe how close to Epcot we were! The view over the water when leaving the hotel is great and the proximity to restaurants (Cape May in the lobby, Ale & Compass at Yacht Club just a short walk) was a bonus. Big fan of the marketplace as well! Will definitely be staying here again!

After purchasing a 7 day Beach club resort stay thru a Disney travel agent, I was dumbfounded on how they have a banding policy at the pool never clearly explained to the guest at booking or pool entrance. The guest are then made to get out of the pool at the entitles employees discretion to go get banded or color of the band changed. They had qualms with me bringing one adult guest inside (which I did not know I couldn’t) instead of professionally linking them as an extra guest to my room of only 2 people. Save your sanity and get a room at Swan and Dolphin. Similar geography with a better Marriott management.

So to give some context we are DVC members and this was our 8th Trip and I’ve stayed at almost every deluxe resort now apart from the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower. This was my second stay at the Beach Club and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. The rooms had been refurbished since our last stay which was nice but to be fair I wasn’t wowed. The view was trees and a busy noisy road absolutely appalling. I requested a decent view but that was completely ignored which I was shocked at as the cast members at Saratoga and Animal Kingdom have always been so accommodating. However my biggest issue with this stay was the staff. I had to deal with 2 cast members whilst checking in, first a young lady who was nice but just didn’t have a clue. We had some issues with the app in terms of virtual queues which on our last visit the staff at Saratoga Springs had dealt with it fantastically so I was expecting this same high level of customer service and magic but no. When I asked if there was anyone else I could speak to, to resolve the issue she directed me to the manager on duty unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was a gentleman from Haiti. His overall general attitude was one of total arrogance and in no way wanted to help in fact he was very dismissive. I have never in my 12 years of visiting Disney ever come across a cast member with this attitude and what made it worse it was my 50th Birthday and nether of them even wished me happy birthday and I had the Disney Pin on. We have now checked into Riviera and what a difference so far, Patrick was fantastic at check in and has arrange a birthday treat. Definitely no Disney Magic at the Beach Club on this visit.

I don’t understand these bad reviews. I think we had room 2532. No frills, view of the trees with balcony. Fine by me! The room was clean! 2 Queens and pull out comfortable twin bed. The cleaning service was fantastic and friendly! Bell service friendly and helpful! And here is the BEST part of this building - steps to Epcot. I won’t stay anywhere else again!!!! The Marketplace was very clean and stocked and the service was great! Plenty of seating if you want to have a sandwich. Beaches and Cream is a must do. The quick service ice cream area is wonderful. Everything is clean and fast service! The pool service great too. Clean! The employees who greet you are very nice. Maybe i haven’t been as fortunate as others to go as many times to compare but I have to tell anyone looking at this hotel give it a try because you might be like me, grateful to be able to afford a stay here and you won’t be disappointed. We went to Epcot round and round and round and a boat to HWS a couple of times. We just never stopped we loved it. It’s truly magical and so don’t sweat these bad reviews, make the most of it and enjoy it. We walked over to Yacht Club for lunch too. Their Marketplace is nice too much larger but the hotel itself is much different if you like that style go for it. It’s very elegant. It’s Beach Club for me and I thank everyone i came in contact with bc I was very blessed to be there with my family. It was so memorable.
