Traveled there especially for a very exclusive event and also stayed overnight. Castle hotel with a view of the water. Art in the park. Pool and wellness. Arrival from Belfast city airport by train (towards Bangor). Only a few meters walk from the platform to the hotel.

Wonderful hotel which seems to be in the country yet so close to the city. Staff fantastic and good range of dining. Could do with more salads on the menu's and there were no recycling bins which we have become accustomed to here in Canada. Great place to stay whilst in Northern Ireland. Walk to the Ulster Folk museum and drive the Ards peninsula

Hotel was amazing. Our waiter, Robin, at Vespers was lovely and courteous. The thermal experience was also fantastic and a great way to relax after a long trip. With lovely views and lovely grounds and wonderful decor it was a very cozy stay.

A two night stay at this truly fantastic venue. Consists of 7 floors with the reception on the 4th floor. Awesome gardens. Such a shame we had such a poor view from our room (307). King sized bed. Lovely large bathroom with rain shower and separate bath. Nice sized room but a little dark. 3 course dinner on first night at Cultra Inn was excellent. Breakfast at Vespers was also good. Dinner on second night was taken in Lough Bar and was also tasty. Staff very smart and friendly. Loved our stay.

Very enjoyable stay for our wedding anniversary. Friendly staff, and a lovely location. This hotel is set in the Holywood hills just outside the town of Holywood and a few miles from Belfast. Also 15 minutes away is the seaside city of Bangor.

This was a treat for my father in law and we were not disappointed. There was a vast amount of delicious food which included an expresso size soup, sandwiches and huge choice of cakes. The price was comparative with other afternoon teas we have had. Service was excellent, a very enjoyable experience.

Overall the Culloden hotel is excellent in many ways but I was dismayed by the attitude of a particular reception person at check in. Overall the service in the bar was good on most occasions but could be hit and miss. The Dunlop Suite despite the view was not up to the standard one would expect of a 5 star hotel with issues mentioned in a previous review still present. However the hotel has a great setting, great breakfast, great restaurant and overall very friendly and efficient staff.

This is a luxury hotel with a price to match, not a Premier Inn. The staff were absolutely delightful and welcoming. The location. Is stunning and the spa was wonderful. However deyals matter! The hook in on the back of the bathroom door was missing there was no where to hang anything so ended up putting things in the bath. The duvet cover was inside out. There was no soap and the water glasses appeared to have residue. Day 2 the room had not been served until approx 3pm this is very late. The tea coffee and water had not been replenished only the cups were washed. Soap had appeared but no more shampoo. Disappointing for a luxury hotel and not the standard on previous visits. Had to go and request replenishments from reception. As an aside we were on floor 5 at the end and there was a constant noise of an extractor or ventilation unit which was annoying. Breakfast day 1 was fabulous my 'solid' poached eggs benedict were perfection. Day 2 no menu on table. Had to send my requested solid eggs back as they were runny, replacement was still runny - I gave up had had buffet items instead. The staff seemed stressed as there was a large coach party having breakfast. I had to go and find staff to request more tea and return my runny eggs. Other guests had to go and locate staff to deal with their requests. The hotel needs to address these ******* as I expected better and previous visits have been without any negatives at all. Not sure if these are training issues or just insufficient staff. I hope my feedback will be noted and actions taken as cumulatively these ******* amounted to a disappointing stay.

We booked in for one night as we were attending the IOH NI dinner dance. We arrived at 4 pm to check, the entrance to the Colloden is stunning, and the reception staff are friendly. Pamela was very friendly and helpful. Amy and Anna were also chatting to us and we were excited for the lovely evening ahead. Jon took us to our room. He is excellent, very professional yet so friendly. We were staying in the Blackwood Suite, and wow, we were just amazed how beautiful the room was and the view from the bedroom overlooking the grounds and Belfast lough. We felt like royalty. The furnishings and fittings are so gorgeous. Great sized bedroom, beautiful bathroom, sitting room and another little bathroom. The function was excellent. The staff were very well organised and their service was good. We slept so well in our cosy bed, and next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I ordered an omelette, which was lovely. Great selection of everything. I can't recall the name of the young man who brought us to our table for breakfast, he was excellent. On check out, again the dream team Pamela and Jon were there and we would have loved to have stayed. We love the grounds for a walk. Thank you to all the team in The Culloden for a fantastic stay. We hope to return.
