I was looking forward to eating at this restaurant as it looks nice from the outside. However, inside it wasn't as modern as it seems from the outside. Service inattentive and long waiting times. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good. French fries too much salt, Eglis were not fresh! Unfortunately not recommended :(

Rooms pleasant and very clean. The breakfast buffet was replenished only very hesitantly or not at all. Egg dishes, meat offer remained empty in the middle of breakfast time. It was also a little surprising that at check-in we were told that we should pay the evening before departure, without mentioning that this was necessary because reception was irregularly manned in the morning.

The so-called "economy" rooms are very small and overpriced. Reception staff is unfriendly. Since there is no air conditioning, the room temperature is extremely high. A busy thoroughfare runs in front of the window, and sleep is out of the question. The staff in the restaurant, on the other hand, is very nice, efficient and courteous.

What I didn't like: - the aging room - the trivial breakfast - the incorrect information on the "escape and rescue plan" - value for money If you drive from the autobahn, you won't see the hotel car park at first glance. The hotel reception and the large car park are located at the back of the hotel. Following a private invitation, we booked a room at Hotel Urs & Viktor. We agreed to be picked up at 4.30pm. When we arrived there was someone at the front desk. »Aren't you told that the reception is only open from 5 p.m.?« Room #110 didn't exactly convince us. A bit old, with a door that is difficult to open and furnishings that don't even create a wow effect. An interesting detail. I was probably the first guest to study the "escape and rescue plan" on the room door. After looking at it for a long time, I found that the plan reflects incorrect information. The map is hung upside down and the meeting point is anything but recognizable at first glance. Assuming there was an emergency and guests were guided by it - then this misinformation would be heard in a final assessment. The other day I communicated this finding to the receptionist. With the sentence "The plan was drawn up by an architect" he failed to give me the feeling that my comment was being taken seriously. Breakfast in the restaurant was sobering and disappointing. We were the only guests in the hotel - at least that's what the situation showed us. No buffet. With questions and answers, we fought our way to an order because we didn't have any documents. No sign of Corona measures. The second guest and last guest is seated directly behind me. As a vaccinated person, I didn't classify this as a major danger, but I was surprised that the lady in the service didn't do anything. There were several more tables in the room. The quality of the breakfast didn't convince us. My scrambled eggs were oversalted and unusually greasy to prepare. I would have preferred to have ordered the coffee as milk coffee in a pot. So in the end we had two coffees and always a lotus biscuit. The braid was cut too thick, the croissants so-so. The long way back to the room, the room key that is difficult to turn and the bill amount lead me to say that the value for money is not right. 188 francs are simply too much.
