Brilliant stay. The house is well maintained, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Nicer than the photos looked! Would recommend the front facing rooms on the second floor as the view from the bay windows is spectacular. We even had binoculars provided in our room. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Good selection of hot drinks in our room. Fridge available to use downstairs and insulated bottles for the room so no need for the little packets of milk. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. They had great knowledge of the area and were able to recommend walks we hadn't found that were suitable for our preferred level of activity. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and a good selection. Takeaway Welsh cakes were a nice touch and saved us from hunger a few times on longer walks. Thank you Martin, Pippa & Marian

We had an amazing time there. Our room had a beautiful view of the valley. Martin gave us some great hiking advice. The breakfast food was great. We had sausages made by Martin himself! Our room was cosy, clean, and comfortable. It's a great place run by a family with love.

Very welcoming hosts. Room 8 was superb, comfortable beds, large shower and plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of it. Pancakes are the best we've ever had! Easy walking distance to the village. Would definitely visit the area again and stay here!

Well where do I start. My partner and I have traveled the world and stayed in all kinds of accommodation but we’ve never had hospitality as good as Aberconwy House. Martin, Pippa and Marian were all very welcoming, friendly and quick to make us feel at home. Martin was extremely supportive and accommodating to my strict dietary requirements and really went above and beyond to ensure I was as catered to as any other guest and wasn’t made to feel uncomfortable or different for it either. The room we stayed in was the best they had to offer with an exceptional panoramic view into the village and valley beyond. The room was very well presented, meticulously clean and fresh smelling. I could not fault a thing. The knowledge of local food, attractions, interest spots and other cultural activities was very impressive, varied and helpful. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend staying here and we cannot wait to book our next visit! Thank you for everything Dan and Shaunie

I had a fantastic stay at this B&B during my first visit to Wales! The room exceeded my expectations with its comfort, especially the wonderfully cozy beds. The shower was also top-notch, which is always a plus. Each morning, we were greeted with a freshly cooked breakfast that was absolutely delicious - a perfect start to our days. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, providing us with invaluable information that allowed us to explore numerous local gems. Their insights truly enhanced our experience of Wales. I highly recommend this B&B for anyone visiting the area. It's definitely worth the stay, and I already plan to book here again for my next trip to Wales. A solid five-star experience!

One word to describe our stay - WOW! My surprise 5 day break in North Wales was turned into perfection by my partner's choice of Aberconwy House as our base. Martin, Pippa and Marion are the perfect hosts, who radiate a warm, happy and welcoming glow into their wonderful B & B. Nothing is too much trouble for them, plus they are a mine of information about the area. Excellent, spotlessly clean room and shower room, fantastically comfortable bed with a great view over the valley. A good selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate etc. plus a cold flask of fresh milk from the fridge are ready for your return, after a day's exploring. I was eagerly awaiting my Eggs Benedict on my first morning - and was not disappointed - delicious. I had to repeat this order on two other days, with a full English on the other two! Tea toast and marmalade to follow, with complementary Bara Brith and Welsh Cakes to take away for a snack during the day. Paula had poached eggs on toast, adding a different accompaniment (or two) each day. The scales at home have been put into the bathroom cupboard for a few weeks .... To sum up, read this, and all the other reviews and you will see just how good your stay will be, if you choose Aberconwy House. We'll be back!

Wonderful few days stay. Positives Super comfy bed Spotlessly clean Quality bedding and black out curtains Plenty of storage Excellent drinks choices in the room plus an area to pick up refills. Fresh milk given daily Fresh breakfast ingredients Excellent customer service Comfortable environment Lots of little extras that made differences, such as a draught excluders that were helpful to block the hallway light streaming into the room from below the door! Great value for money and wonderful hosts! Negatives Errrrmmmmm……..

Our room (8) appears to be recently refurbished and equipped with most of what we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was near the town with adequate parking. We especially enjoyed breakfasts by the bay windows watching the birds singing in the garden. Pippa and Martin were great hosts, always available to attend to our queries.
