Hotels in Waterfront, Boston

Great location on the Wharf and very clean, spacious rooms. The two issues: 1) the service at the front desk and with the valet is quite poor, and 2) the amenities are becoming outdated. The spa (Exhale) is nice, but hotel guests need to pay $60 for a pass to use the sauna and steam. It is not included in the room rate.

The InterContinental Boston has a great location; it's within easy walking distance of Chinatown, the Financial District, and Boston's South Station. The receptionist, Lily, was very friendly. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it had most of the essential American breakfast items. The problem was that when you needed to call for water, toiletries, bathrobes, etc., they couldn't provide slippers due to insufficient stock.

A clean hotel with comfortable beds. The breakfast provided was good, although such a terrible waste using plastic cutlery and cups as well as paper plates and cups, not great for the environment at all. Nice downstairs area to socialise in the evening. It would have been nice to have been told on check in about the free food available on Wednesday evening, with crackers, cheese, salad, soup, cookies, beer and soft drinks rather than stumble upon it 5 minutes before it stopped and therefore miss out. The same goes for the free coffee that is available all day and only finding out about it not long before leaving.. Didn't use the swimming pool as was rather crowded already when we went there. The gym was spacious and welll equipped. No flexibility on a later check out, with check out being 11am which is early for a hotel of this size. Location wise we walked or took the local buses which was fine but you are some distance out of the city which might not suit some.

I firstly arrived at 13:00, and tried to check-in, the Arabic-dressing reception told me there was no room available as soon as she opened my passport….a guest before me just successfully checked in. Well, I asked the place for luggage storage, she coldly told with a deadly face that “go straight and turn right”. What is that? I waited for 5minutes and no people came back to storage. I went back to reception and told her, I was in a rush to see off my friend who is to catch up with a flight. Well, the Arabic lady just asked me to wait and wait, there would be people. What is this?! More interesting, after I came back from lunch, it was around 16:00, there was only one reception who was earlier beside the Arabic-dressing lady. She asked me to wait, and then started to clean her own hands, and the tables. It was at least 5minutes later when a gentleman come to the reception, she asked the gentleman to make checkin for me. What are these rubbish service and rubbish workers the hotel has! It was my first experience for such kind of hotel service during the past 40years around the world!

Clean, new rooms. Convenient location. Walkable safe area. Comfortable mattress. Would highly recommend! We even tried the brunch buffet downstairs and while it was a little pricey it was great! We can't wait to go back again. Easy check in and check out.

This hotel has a very good location and a great view. I am very satisfied with it. Breakfast is ordered and it is quite satisfactory. The only small regret is that the door lock broke on the last night, which almost delayed my return home, hahahaha

The room facilities are relatively new, and it is convenient to play near the harbor. Breakfast in the morning is 6:30-9:00, which is not bad. If I come to Boston again, I will choose this place

Great hotel in Sea Port area of Boston. 12 minutes walk to Downtown. There are many nice restaurants and bars around the area. The hotel is modern, rooms are spacious. Would stay here again!

YOTEL is honestly a pretty cool place if you’re into modern, no-frills stays. The rooms are small, but they’re designed really smartly, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. I liked the adjustable bed and the overall vibe—it feels kind of futuristic. The self-check-in is quick, though it can feel a bit impersonal. It’s in a great location, which makes getting around easy. That said, it’s probably not the best if you want lots of space or a super cozy feel. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short, convenient stay.

Fantastic location, we walked to the children museum from the hotel. Breakfast was great, pool was fun although it is quite skinny and not as warm as I would like. Sauna was very nice! I was surprised we had to tip for a breakfast buffet when breakfast was included in our stay. There was someone refilling coffee at our table so we would have felt bad if we didn't leave a tip, but I would rather have just not had to tip anyone and get my own coffee refills since we already paid for included breakfast.
