Lovely Christmas atmosphere and decorations for this Turkey and Tinsrk self drive break. Very good service from the staff and clean and convenient room. Excellent entertainment and dancing in the evening . Food very good … excellent value and pleasant dining room.

Had to leave first night. The room was full of bed bugs. And it was my husbands birthday and a get away before Xmas. It was awful the bed bugs was all over the bed we had leave 1am in morning. We are covered in bites. And offered no compensation.

Went there 4 days ago . The room smelt absolutely awful had to go out & buy air freshners plus leave the windows open constantly, the other couple had the same problem & informed the staff . Nothing was done . The food was well below standard . The staff were great . The entertainment & staff were the only good thing about this hotel . This is the second time we have been away and stayed at a daishs hotel & will certainly be the last . As both times were abysmal …

Just returned from holiday with Daish Holidays, greeted by The Manager on the coach, check in straight forward. Single room was spacious. Bed comfortable. Shower was good too. 3 courses. Evening meals are good, bar too, not many staff, but they worked so fast & efficently to serve everybody. Every evening a quizz, Bingo & entertainment, I won The House, so virtually got back what i paid for my holiday !! What can I say, blooming fantastic holiday for prices. The Manager at Bournemouth is such a hard working guy, he jumped in EVERYWHERE to help out. He also announced my Birthday (unbeknown to me he knew) in the dining room & got everyone to sing Happy Birthday to me AND I had a cake presented to me too. I can't thank you all enough, That has, to have been my best Birthday ever, I can't describe the feeling apart from feeling part of a big family with lots of lovely people on your Birthday, THANK YOU DAISH. See you soon 😁

The hotel was good, no complaints, the staff were very good. The weather helped, mild for early April. First time we have stayed there, would go again. The location is handy for the beach and the town. Nearby buses take you to neighbouring towns and run quite frequently.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Have two children with special needs and the staff very kindly let us check into the room early rather than us having to wait until the actual time of check in. The food was basic but tasty enough and the entertainment in the evening was very good. Our family room was comfortable, clean and was what we were expecting. Only downside was the Wifi, which kept disconnecting. Would definitely consider staying at the hotel in the future.

Had a great time went with a crowd of friends from work.Hotel is well located.Food and entertainment was great staff friendly.We could not asked for better weather. The hotel could do with a bit of an update.But to be honest, for what we paid, it was very good.Will go again .

Fantastic 5days .lovely bright room. Lovely food. Great transport. Entertainment and bingo every night. Differently come again . Staff are helpful don't need to worry about cases once you are collected by the driver everything is taken care of

Just returned from The Sands after a 5 day break. The hotel is well placed and despite a wet and windy week,we enjoyed our stay As with other Daish hotels,the staff are very friendly and helpful,and work long hoursWe upgraded to a superior room which was only £10 and well worth the little extra.Our room was large,clean and comfortable/ The food was adeqate.Plenty of choice,simple fayre but always hot and well presented A special mention to our wonderful waiter,Manuel.He went above and beyond to please,...quick,efficient and very friendly As ex hoteliers,we would have been very happy to employ such an efficient member of staff,but also impressed with the other staff members. :) Overall,The Sands represents fantastic value for money & I wouldn't hesitate to return.
