A very beautiful country villa, the room is full of British style, clean and tidy, the breakfast room is beautiful, you can enjoy the outdoor pastoral scenery while eating, the visual is excellent, the air is fresh, it feels great to choose the right accommodation👍

i can’t put into words just how wonderful this place is. I had the most amazing relaxing weekend here , I was so chilled that I felt like I’d had 2 weeks away not 2 days! The food was fantastic throughout our stay using local high quality ingredients . Harry and the team couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome, highly recommend Johns cocktails, it truly was a home from home. If you totally want to unwind and leave the rat race behind this is the place for you. The gardens are beautiful I recommend sitting on the terrace and watching the sun go down . Give this place a go if you want to unwind and relax.

A beautiful hotel in majestic gardens with well appointed public rooms and bedrooms. Very stylish with quality fixtures, fittings and amenities. There is a lovely country house ambience which is partnered with excellent menu choices and delightful dining experiences. The staff were exemplary in their professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommended, lots of charming features, makes an excellent base for spending time in the lakes. The young man who greeted us at reception and served our meals added an extra quality to our stay and is worthy of special praise.

What a spectacular place to stay!! Linden Fell was a beautiful estate set in lush gardens overlooking a beautiful lake. The house was wonderfully appointed in a traditional English decor. Our room was cozy with the a modern bathroom. The receptionist, bartender, breakfast server Olivia was warm and welcoming! I highly recommend this fine establishment on your travels the the Lakes District in England.

We stayed at Lindeth Fell for 4 nights and cannot rate it highly enough. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the staff are brilliant (particularly Tam and manager Harry). The breakfast was fantastic and we ate in the hotel on one of our evenings and the food and service again was excellent. We stayed at Lindeth Fell as it was not too far from Gretna Green where we were getting married. On the morning of our wedding, we asked Tam to take some photos before we left (we didn’t want any fuss or attention so we hadn’t let the hotel know we were planning to get married) she very kindly did this for us and when we returned our room was made up with rose petals on the bed and a bottle of bubbly on ice! This was a lovely surprise and we appreciated that it was all kept very low key and nobody else in the hotel were made aware. Thank you so much for making our stay and wedding weekend perfect! Warning. Cancellation possible if booked at a lower rate. We booked this hotel 10 months ago at a discounted rate for a birthday surprise getaway, the booking was confirmed and everything seemed fine. A few weeks before we were about to stay here we were contacted saying there had been an error in the price we booked it for and it would be hundreds of pounds extra if we wanted to keep the booking! We messaged twice through the booking agent to try and resolve this, but were told the hotel had advertised the offer price in error and would not honour the booking, 24 hours later I received an email saying the booking had been cancelled without any further explanation. I think it was terrible of Lindeth Fell not to honour the original price and to cancel without explanation. We can only assume they decided they could make more profit by cancelling our booking and getting another one. I do not recommend you book to stay here.

This was our first stay at the Lindeth Fell but what a wonderful find! The aspect, overlooking Windermere and the Forest and Fells beyond made the views spectacular and ever changing depending on the time of day and the weather - but it was always breathtaking! But apart from that, what made this hotel extra special were the fantastic team of staff! They were efficient, friendly, nothing was too much trouble and made us feel at home immediately. In particular we’d like to thank Ben, Tam, John, Cath and Olivia for your for making our stay and celebrations so memorable and to Ashley, the superb Chef whose food is excellent, and managed to leave me lost for words on my Birthday by serving me my favourite meal ever! Also huge thanks goes to Harry for his hospitality and generosity on our first visit to Lindeth Fell, we really did appreciate it. Needless to say this may have been our first visit but it certainly won’t be our last!

Absolutely gorgeous in every way. We stayed in a suite which had a stunning outlook over the gardens with glimpses of the lake. The room was luxurious, beautifully decorated with an array of choice in terms of beverages and beautiful home made shortbread biscuits. The bar and restaurant areas are atmospheric and the views are lovely. Breakfast is a very classy yet friendly experience with table service and a good menu choice. Nothing was too much trouble, a restful and memorable birthday night away.
