Chateau Elan Winery

Lots of potential, very hit or miss on service. Property is pretty solid, nice room, clean. There were multiple restaurants, golf courses, a spa and coffee shop on site. Not to mention the tasting room is very nice for Georgia. A couple of really big misses: 1) Versailles is forgettable - avoid if possible. 2) Cafe opened very late on Sunday - maybe 9am due to staff no-show presumably. Overall, the food at the pub and Versailles were average Sysco at best. Marc was fantastic but how many meals are you going to drop $200 a head on? If going back, I’d hit Marc and the Spa restaurant - that was actually a gem. Didn’t get to play golf but my guess is that the two full courses are nice. The par 3 was nice enough based on what I saw on a short walk. Overall, this place has everything needed to be great - seems to suffer from mediocre management.

My stay at Chateau Elan Winery was wonderful!

Chateau Elan was beautiful. There was plenty to do during our weekend there. Restaurants were amazing and we really loved the spa!

I spent a significant amount to stay here, but unfortunately the quality of service did not meet my expectations. I booked my room months in advance and specifically requested a nice view, yet I was assigned a room on the lowest floor, far from the main compound. The restaurant service was also disappointing, as there were repeated issues with our orders and it often felt like our concerns were overlooked rather than addressed. The spa service was average at best. While the property itself has a beautiful view, the overall level of service did not match the standard I expected for the price paid.

Had a great solo night at Chateau Elam - the pool was open and breakfast the next morning was great!

10 of 10 must stays in Georgia!! The atmosphere the food the rooms are so clean! This place is Luxury wrapped in a bow! The staff is amazing, Virgina of the front desk, is the most professional and kind person,

Overall was good. There’s a long walk to the hotel if you self park. The rom was nice and big comfortable bed. The bathroom needed some work shower floor in the corners were not clean looked like mildew, the shower door was broken it slammed shut when you opened it. But everything was convenient and close I felt secure.

The place seemed to be understaffed - service was slow and quality was nothing special. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t refreshed by housekeeping so we were waiting on clean towels and toilet paper. Reservations were required at both of the upscale restaurants on property which was a bummer.

This is where WORK and RELAXATION meets. The staff are beyond accommodating and professional. They strive towards excellence! 10 out of 10!!!
