Decent given the price paid, though the rooms could do with some TLC. Good location and quiet at nights.

Excellent hotel, clean, well maintained. Very convenient location. Near the metro, bus to the airport. Excellent responsive staff. Very tasty breakfasts. We will definitely come back here. I recommend.

The location of the hotel is good, right in the city center, but the parking is inconvenient, there is not even a parking space for taxis, and you can only get off on the side of the road. The hotel equipment is a bit outdated, and there is no cover for the water outlet of the washbasin. The room is small, with a double bed of 1.5 meters. Breakfast is simple. The service attitude of the staff is good, but the hardware is flawed. Still cheap, but we moved to a more comfortable hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, right in the city center. It is a relatively famous youth hostel with eight beds in one room. If your budget is to travel Europe on a budget, then you can choose this one. It's clean and hygienic, and the bath water is very hot. There were people in the room from all over the world.

Marriott upper-scale properties, such as their Autograph Collection &/or Tribute Portfolio brands, continue to miss the mark. Weak management seems to plague many of these properties & consistent delivery of Marriott's Bonvoy Program only exists in the minds of HQ Executives. The experience of Bonvoy Members is something quite different in reality, since members NEVER know what to expect until they check in. Just finished 12 nights in 6 different European Marriott brands in 3 countries & only 1 even bothered to acknowledge our lifetime elite membership status. Otherwise, we received the same treatment as a guest staying at a Marriott property for the 1st time. The Marmorosch is indeed a beautiful property -- or at least the exterior & lobby area are. The rooms themselves are more more like Fairfield Inn properties in the US. Basic to the extreme & poor housekeeping was evident throughout the property. Trash that littered the floor on arrival was still there 3 days later, as were the blood droplets on the bathroom floor, & one has to question what type of housekeeping would leave a bed in the condition of the one in the attached photos? Only 1 side of the huge hand-pull drapes worked & could be opened, so we called to ask that someone be sent to fix the other side. A pleasant gentleman promptly appeared to tell us that they could not fix the drapes because a separate company had to be scheduled to do the repair. We subsequently learned from an honest employee that the non-functioning drapes issue has plagued the property since opening & is well known to owner/management. The property was previously a bank so there is a bar in the lower level Vault area, which one would incorrectly assume to be a beautiful & sophisticated location for cocktails. Unfortunately, as you descend the stairs to the lower level the loud & pulsating disco music immediately lets you know that your expectations are incorrect. We looked in the door & decided to not even bother entering & returned to the beautiful Lobby for drinks, but left after 15 minutes when no one arrived at the bar to offer service, & others who were waiting when we arrived were still unserved when we departed. Breakfast was a manic mess since the room where it is served is not capable of meeting guest needs if the hotel is more than 75% occupied. Many of the food items that should be hot are cold & unappetizing. Never saw a breakfast menu on a table in the first 2 days of our stay, & only after asking about cooked-to-order items that were being served around us on the 3rd day, were we given a menu with several options that are, in fact, available for breakfast. Check-in was the biggest fiasco we have ever encountered at ANY Marriott property. A full 50 minutes to check-in with only 2 employees manning the 4-5 positions & the Bonvoy Member sign on the front desk was completely meaningless. The food is delicious fresh fruits and vegetables the location is excellent in the city center. The staff is very friendly. The airport is 20 minutes away by taxi. I was very satisfied

Second time here. Great location. Clean. New. The lift is seriously problematic there’s no way you can choose if you are going up or down - you end up spending time with whoever is inside. (Cleaning staff, customers etc). They have a phone in the room that doesn’t work at all so you have to use your mobile phone to get some amenities or whatever you need. (Seriously!) Great restaurants and food. Restaurant staff super friendly both dinner and breakfast. Reception staff kind and courteous. Can you please extend the room service menu? 9.30 pm isn’t great at all. Please make sure the rooms have a good smell when you switch on the AC. Thanks !

Its not a bad hotel this, the decor is retro circa 1960/70's but the matching furniture does not make for a comfortable seat. However, the room was spotless, comfortable well provided for and well equipped, There are extensive facilities within the hotel. The problem was that we were there on a package tour for one night and the food provided as part of our deal was pretty awful. I say this because the restaurant looked good as did the menu but our meal would have been determined by the travel company as would the budget for it. Unfair to judge therefore.
