Hotel Museum Budapest

The only good things I can mention about the hotel are the location, which is centric, and the staff, which was friendly. For the rest, I didn't have a positive stay. I booked a king bed, and I was given two separate beds joined together, making it a bigger one, but still separate. Two small blankets, very hard to cover myself. The pillows were awful, every pillow of different size. The air conditioner sounded more like a truck. Not even a free bottle of water in the bedroom. The bed, the blankets, the pillow, the room, the air conditioner: very disappointed.

When we arrived into the hotel, the spa and the gym were unavailable due to reconstruction works, so we got only the room. That was quite unpleasant that the hotel didn't offer any amenities as a replacement. They offered massage which was for a fee of around 30 euros and nothing more. The room was spacious and clean, a little worn out. We asked for late check-out and the hotel provided one hour extra so overall, we were satisfied. Otherwise, we wouldn't pay this amount for only having a place to sleep. Breakfast was delicious, not much varied, but good quality.

The room was basic and clean with good air conditioning, although it was quite noisy. Also, light from the hallway leaked in under the door, which meant waking up at night when people in the neighboring room returned from their night out. The breakfast was basic and okay, nothing special, especially for someone on a meatless diet. If something ran out, it wasn't necessarily restocked. The area was okay, with quite a few abandoned or abandoned-looking buildings around. It was a short walk to the restaurants in the Jewish Quarter and to the city center. There was no need to buy a public transport day pass or tickets at all. The only time we paid for a ride (taxi) was when we visited the Pál-völgyi cave, which was well worth visiting!

Had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Museum Budapest. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a nice modern atmosphere. The location is convenient for exploring Budapest, with many attractions, restaurants and public transport within easy reach. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was also good with a decent selection. Overall, a comfortable and convenient hotel in Budapest. Good value for money and I would consider staying here again on my next visit.
