Triple M Hotel
"The room is clean, the service is excellent"
Corinthia Budapest
An 1896 hotel with an Art Deco-style Royal Spa—featuring a pool, saunas, and thermal treatments—just two stops on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Sous44
"The hotel is in a great location, with a metro station nearby, which makes it easy to get around the city. It takes no more than 10–15 minutes to reach the centre of Budapest by metro. The breakfast offers a good selection of food. On the downside, the bed linen was not very clean — I found quite a few hairs on it and noticed a couple of ants in the bathroom. Overall, I am satisfied with my choice of hotel."
IntercityHotel Budapest
"It's alright. I've stayed here a few times already. It's right next to the train station, which is convenient for shopping and transportation. The breakfast is also quite good and varied. Once you book a non-refundable rate, it's pretty much non-refundable, even if you try to cancel two months in advance, haha."
Ibis Budapest Castle Hill
"Great location, but no electric kettle, small face towe, showel capl and slippers. Remember to bring your own."
Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest
"Beautiful monastery/hotel. Room is clean and has everything we need, including air-con, which is a big plus during heat wave. Free parking is available."
JO&JOE Budapest
"There were lots of activities, and one night they even had a karaoke competition, which I really enjoyed. It was so much fun singing along with everyone! 😆 The guy at the front desk had excellent service too! 👍"
Apple guesthouse
"The scenery is beautiful, it's close to the airport and very convenient. It's an hour's drive from the city center and very close to the bus and train stations. The house has a good structure and complete facilities, making for a great stay."
Novotel Budapest Danube
"Front desk is super! I needed to see a doctor or get some medication on Good Friday which was a public holiday. The duty manager and front desk staff assisted me with an address for a 24h pharmacy located out of the city centre by train. I managed to get the medication eventually, as well as see the community neighbourhood too on a quiet Friday morning. The room I stayed in faced the Parliament building and morning sun too. It was very warm despite with the AC turned on and lasted even through the nights we stayed. Our request for a fan helped a little to ventilate the room. But this may be just the problem for the room we stayed in. Housekeeping staff is nice and pleasant. The standard of beds made was only average. But perhaps, this was the expected standard for Novotel hotels in Budapest. Other than these, the room view facing the Danube was amazing and the location is near to Castle District. Our stay was pleasant overall."

Island Hostel Budapest
"This place is a hidden gem on the island. Very friendly host, easy to get into the city, really excellent private terrace with lots of character and a view of the danube for having a drink and enjoying the sun and very good value!"
Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest
The Art Nouveau Gresham Palace by the Chain Bridge — views of the fortress and the Danube from the lobby and suites, with signature Four Seasons service.
Hotel Veritas
"When we arrived, everything seemed fine at first. Check-in was smooth, and we received our key cards without any issues. But the disappointment came quickly once we entered the room. The space was extremely narrow, with three beds crammed in, and there was a large hole in the ceiling panel. The duvets were also visibly dirty, which didn’t help the first impression. We told ourselves, "We're only sleeping here, so let’s just make it work." We tried connecting to the WiFi, but there was no signal in the room. One of us had to go down to reception just to get a basic connection to check if it was even functioning. The minibar didn’t work, and neither did the TV. At that point, we started looking for alternative hotels. Instead, I spoke to reception and requested another room. To their credit, they came up, inspected the situation, and agreed that the room was not acceptable. We were moved to a new room where the fridge and TV worked — but unfortunately, the WiFi was still basically unusable. I was unable to work from the room at all and had to sit in the lobby to get anything done. Breakfast was okay, but not quite what we had expected. Overall, while the staff was helpful and did their best to resolve the issues, the condition of the first room and the lack of basic amenities made this a disappointing stay."
Petneházy Aparthotel
"Very peaceful, beautiful view, suitable for relaxation."
Anantara New York Palace Budapest - A Leading Hotel of The World
"I got an upgraded room, which was super luxurious, especially the bathroom. The non-upgraded rooms are probably on par with a 500-600 RMB hotel in China. The service was very warm and attentive, and adding breakfast made the experience even better!"
Áurea Ana Palace by Eurostars Hotel Company
"The extra bottle of water costs 3 euros. Fortunately, we asked first and canceled immediately. This is the first time we encountered a five-star hotel and we were charged for extra water. Others overall are pretty good."
Kimpton BEM BUDAPEST by IHG
"The room is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is also very rich."
Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest
The Kempinski Hotel by Erzsébet Square is just 350m from the Deák hub (M1/M2/M3) — featuring Nobu and ÉS Bisztró restaurants and a spa complex.
Novotel Budapest City
"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I am truly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was smooth and professional, which made a great first impression. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet, which allowed me to rest very well."
Danubius Hotel Arena
"I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much."
Adina Apartment Hotel Budapest
An aparthotel with an indoor pool and sauna near the Western Railway Station (M3) — spacious apartments perfect for families and long-term stays.
Al Habtoor Palace Budapest
"Everything was great. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you to all the staff."
Millennium Court, Budapest - Marriott Executive Apartments
"Excellent location right in city centre. Staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are huge with laundry rooms to do your own laundry."
Verdi Budapest Aquincum
"We had an absolutely incredible experience during our stay. Best was the swimming pool area. The surroundings were stunning, with breathtaking scenery that left us in awe. Every aspect of the resort was meticulously organized, creating a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. We especially enjoyed the expansive pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly; it truly made our visit unforgettable!"
Onyx Luxury Budapest
"The breakfast is plentiful, and it's a 10-minute walk from Keleti train station and a 15-minute taxi ride from Fisherman's Bastion."
Wonder - The Luxury Boutique Hotel
"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how well-equipped and beautifully maintained the facilities were. The room was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was modern and spotless, and amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, quality toiletries, and convenient charging ports made the experience even better. The hotel also offers excellent facilities, including a well-equipped fitness center and relaxing common areas that create a welcoming atmosphere."
