Lindsay the lady at the front desk was fantastic. She was able to find me a room for early check in since I had arrived at 11:00 am for a 1:00 pm funeral and needed to shower and change. She was amazing. She also found me some ice that night when I got back to my room and wanted to have a drink because the facility doesn't actually have an ice machine which is something they need to address is my opinion.

Very friendly & helpful lady at the desk, Lori. The bed was very nice & comfortable. Coffee was good in the office. There were no hangers or a place for luggage to be off the floor. The plug by the sink did not work. Finding the hot water in the shower was very tricky. Hot & Cold plate was upside down. No plug in tub to take a bath. We were there 3 nights & 2 were very noisy. Overall it was ok. Room 105 needs some TLC.

The staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable. I would return here for another business trip again if necessary.

This unassuming vintage property is very clean and right in town. The manager was beyond nice, and accommodated our requests. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn't claim to be in Bertram, and who expects that. It's a one block walk to The Standard on Vaugh, which is an excellent restaurant you would expect to find in a big city like Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, etc. I was thinking Bertram was a good Chicken-Fried-Steak & Beer town, but instead we had Duck Confit, Sea Bass, Salmon & Espresso Martini's. The 1935 Globe Theater was a great venue for a live show, and one block beyond. Have a nightcap and two blocks walk home to the hotel and you are set. I'd be glad to stay there again.

Staff was very nice but clothes left in room and recived another vlient's receipt.

Checkin was great. Friendly and helpful and pointed us to delicious food. Room was ok outdated some. NO hot water at all and banging upstairs very early morning. Little expensive for no hot water

A nice clean property. Friendly. Convenient

We stayed here for 2 nights while in town for a gun show in Briggs. There is no other place to stay anywhere around there, so we were fine with this little motel. Check in was super easy & my husband said the lady at the front desk was very nice. The motel is definitely dated, but very clean. The shower was good, the AC worked great, the bed was slightly uncomfortable (but for sure not the worst bed we've ever slept in at a hotel/motel). The bathroom vanity/countertop was pulled away from the wall & there was a pretty good gap between the vanity & the wall where it has been gouped up with caulk several times, & our bedspread had some small holes in it, but otherwise everything was good. There was some type of antique car show in town apparently, because there were numerous Fieros in the parking lot, and when all of the guys that drove them returned, we could hear them outside pretty loudly, & through the walls too. I'm sad to know that a car that was new when I was in high school is an antique!! Also, there is no Keurig or mini coffee pot in the rooms---you have to use the Keurig in the office.
