I LOVED this hotel. It was so luxurious compared to the price. I wish all hotels were like this.
The location is great: a lot of public transport, lots of night life, a market, restaurants and (underground) shopping within walking distance. It took about 25-30 minutes from Busan Station to the hotel.
Japanese style toilet, shower (hand held & rain shower) had good water pressure and temperature. Bedside table with sockets right above it. Two chairs, a wardrobe (4 hangers), 2 shoe polish mitts, 2 small and 2 big towels. Convenience store right next to the reception. Washing room is 2000won for 2 hours, no matter what cycle (washing or drying), detergent is 500won. Gym is accessible with your room card.
I didn't like that the airco blew right on the bed, but you could easily set the temperature a bit higher if it bothered you.

My family and I stayed at the hotel from 26 Dec to 28 Dec 2023 and upon checkout, the staff insisted that they had issues reversing my 200 000 krw deposit because I didn't use the same card. This is strange and confusing because I only used one credit card the whole time in Korea. I also used the same card to pay for the hotel booking upon check in. We stayed in other Lotte Hotels in Korea and compared to those hotels, our experience at Lotte Hotel Busan was not the best. During check-in, i had several questions for the staff assisting us but she told us curtly that she will explain this later. Perhaps it was a language issue but definitely rubbed me the wrong way. During our time using the pool, different lifeguards asked me on two separate occasions if my family had registered to use the pool -- we paid for the pool usage and received wristbands. They also hovered around my family quite a bit - prolly cos my husband's arm tattoo was showing under his shirt and my kids are rather loud (they are 3 and 6 fyi). We were also told by the staff to keep our 3 year old quiet. We understand that compared to perhaps other Korean children, our child can be quite loud. We tried our best to keep him quiet but he is just 3 and simply excited to be there and it was not so nice to feel like we were being watched all the time for our child.

The hotel is about 10 mins walk from Busan Station. The hotel room is spacious and I like the blue sofa. The only thing is that the TV is not user-friendly, and we ended up not watching it. We had a hard time trying to switch from HDMI to normal TV mode. Receiptionist is helpful to store luggage after check out. Complimentary parking is also available at the hotel.

Reception staff were super kind and helpful. Was able to help us with weighing our bags and arranging taxis. Excellent room cleaning each day 👌 with complimentary bottled water. Solid wifi too and sound proofed well, didn’t hear anyone else the whole 5 days I stayed. Location wise, a bus stop is right outside and short walk to subway, making Gamcheon village, Jalgachi market, Busan tower, Nampo, all super accessible. Airport only 30 minutes away via taxi for around 20,000 won.
Cafe and convenience store on the first floor and amazing bbq chicken and beer on 2nd. Also some good cafes and restaurants walking distance near by.
Would I stay here again? Yes if wanting to stay in the area. If I want to focus on Haeundae more I would perhaps choose somewhere closer to there. I think for first time visit, you can go wrong!
Haeundae/Centum City | 9.59km from Forty Steps Cultural Center
Shilla Stay Haeundae is located in Haeundae, Busan, a landmark city representing Korea, and is about 3km away from Haeundae Station and 19km away from Gimhae International Airport, so you can choose and use various transportation methods.
With its superb view, Haeundae Beach, Haedong Yonggung Temple, Dongbaekseom Island, and Shinsegae Centum City are easily accessible, and international-scale festivals such as the Busan International Film Festival are held every year, so there are many things to enjoy. Bexco, the largest exhibition and convention center in Korea that hosts international exhibitions and conferences, is also close by, making it the best choice to meet both tourism and business.
I hope you will experience a break even in your busy daily life at Shilla Stay Haeundae, which gives satisfaction to both travelers and business travelers.
Kkmendoza2024.08.06
The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. Location is okay if you’re looking to be right next to the beach, but Busan is quite spread out so you’re still a bit far from big attractions like Yonggeung Temple or Gamcheon Culture Village.
HOWEVER, I would never stay here again simply because of the elevator. I think that there are too many people and too few elevators, so you have to wait easily 10 minutes to get anywhere. During checkout, you’d have to wait half an hour or even more. Everyone is frustrated and impatient, but the building is so tall that many guests can’t even consider climbing stairs to get to or from their rooms. Especially since many people visit Busan for only a few days, it actually really feels like you’re losing time simply waiting for an elevator. Surely this is a safety violation? I never thought I could care about an elevator so much, and I know it sounds silly and spoiled at first, but it really was a massive inconvenience and you could tell everyone was upset by it 😂

Rude and arrogant staff that spoiled everything Be careful on the picture of swimming pool package
We arrived late at 10pm and was received well by the first young colleague, but once we were confused by the on site pool package that was not elaborated in current booking, another male staff printed oout a long T & C list and said that they had so many guests from Trip.com and it should be our fault not reading in details. We asked for possible additional charge and he teased on us for our intention to pay for W17000 on one session one person for using the pool. He even requested us to leave and cancel the booking immediately at that late timeslot , and happy to deal with it if we were not satisfied. His facial expression and gesture were all rude and did not carry any professional manner as a Frontline staff.
I couldn't help after a long day trip with family , and nearly collapsed, and could only go back to the room assigned simply for a good bath and sleep. I still stayed for two days because the hardware is good, only this staff was unacceptable.
Compared to the price we have paid, there are many other better choice nearby, with good full seaview and spacious room setting in another hotel. We did it, the next day

Overall experience are okay, one thing to mention, seaview room is totally a huge scam, you only got partial sea view. I had asked reception, he claimed that all their room are partial see view, but the hotel still selling sea view room at a higher price !!
Besides, I requested to borrow an adaptor, its free but i had to travel to lobby to collect it, which i think it can be improved by sending over to room. ;)

🏨 Fairfield by Marriott Busan
314 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, 48099
Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024.
📍Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more.
🚕 Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal.
Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000.
🛌🏽 Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important.
👣 Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home.
🍲 Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away.
Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance.
🏋️ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry.
Rating: 3⭐
Stay here if you have business nearby and want to save time travelling but not as a tourist with limited time wanting to explore the best of what Busan has to offer.

I made a reservation for 9 people for a workshop and was surprised at how clean it was.
It was much wider and better than the picture.
I was able to rest comfortably for 2 days and 1 night thanks to the thorough care and consideration given to me so that I could get a good education.
Book the next workshop in advance!!😄

I would not recommend Ananti at Busan Cove to anyone. It should be a place to relax for families. However, they have an abundance of (confusing) rules and a military style of ”service” from their staff.
I've traveled all across the world (+60 countries). Living & working on 3 continents - and this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. A resort where the guest is always wrong. Strange hours, strange rules, strange service.
And don't count on using the pool on the day of your check-out - as it's not allowed.
If you want to carry around the full page of rules with you, be limited to small selection of restaurants which fill up and close early, then this might be the place for you.
On the plus side, the sea is beautiful (although no accessible beach) - so you are stuck with the pool which is evacuated every 50 minutes.

KKBagzThe most convenient hotel I've stayed in in South Korea since it was just right next to Busan Station. The free skincare was a nice touch. The bed was really comfy. The free breakfast they served was simple but hearty & delicious. They had a different set every day we stayed but the vegetable porridge they served every day was very good.
GGuest Useramazing view, clean, new room, but there was only 1 big towels for 2 adults. that’s too strange. reception asked to pay for another one. crazy. the first hotel where we have faced such problem. thats not the service. moreover they don’t clean room every day.
breakfast was average. nothing special.
Kkuniwo68It is an old hotel with facilities. Amenities are minimal and no toothbrush is attached. There is no curtain in the bathtub and if you shower, the floor will be flooded. You can't use the bath mat in this state. It may be good to have a beach sandal for bathing. The hot water does not come out easily and if it doesn't flow for about 20 minutes, it won't get hot. There was a hot pot on the table, but it was troubled that the code was short, so it did not reach the outlet, put the pot on the chair, and boiled the hot water. I wrote only bad things, but the front desk of the hotel was kind and the room was large enough. The location is also close to the subway station and it is a good hotel enough if you don't even expect excessively.
CChin SongExcellent location, walking distance to subway, Sea Life, X the Sky, Mipo Blueline Park station, Haeundae beach. All CVS stores, restaurants, shops etc. are all just around the corner. The streetfood street is just opposite the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel was located in the mountains, so it was a pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
The facilities were clean and nice
On the other hand, access by public transportation is somewhat inconvenient.

GGuest UserThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was ”the switch is below the TV”. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.
GGuest UserWe recently stayed at the Almond Hotel for 2 nights and had a mixed experience.
The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the station and just a short walk to several bus stops. This made it easy to explore the city and get around. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, so finding a place to eat or grab a coffee was never an issue. In terms of location and accessibility, the hotel definitely scores high.
The price of the room was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the surrounding area. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room, which had an open bathroom floor plan. The bathtub was a good size, comfortably fitting two people, which was a nice touch for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
BUT, there was one major drawback that significantly impacted our stay—the plumbing system. We were in room 202, and the noise from the plumbing was incredibly annoying. You could clearly hear when people in the adjoining rooms were showering or draining their bathtubs, which was quite disruptive. But the worst part was the smell. The bathroom sewer emitted a foul odour that was very unpleasant, making the bathroom area, including the shower, quite unbearable at times. This morning, while I was showering, the stench was particularly strong, making the experience even more unpleasant.
While the hotel has some great features, like its location, room size, and reasonable pricing, the issues with the plumbing and the unpleasant smell really detracted from our overall experience. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend staying here again. The inconvenience and discomfort caused by the plumbing problems outweigh the benefits, unfortunately. If you're considering staying here, you might want to check if these issues have been resolved before booking.

GGuest UserThe room is big and ok. It's come with King size bed. The bed is solid hard which makes your body ache when wake up, and not comfortable at all. The is jacuzzi provided but not functional and the tub is leaking.
The hotel not provided towel, already ask the staff but they said they only give face towel. The microwave located at the ground floor of the hotel. There is no connection lift to the parking. The lift is very dangerous for the kids, by baby hands almost got stuck when she tried to enter the lift, its suddenly close.
