Hotel RH Victoria & Spa

I booked the seven day package holiday through the RH Hotels website and in our opinion it was the easiest and best way to book, we booked a half board holiday with a dream room, hotel contact was simple through email when I needed to make a request, I asked Eva for a room with a view if possible and I got more than I expected with a very nice room on the sixteenth floor and a lovely gift waiting for us in a great room with a sea view, this was service going more than the extra mile, we have stayed at RH Hotels before but the Victoria is easily the best one we have stayed at with a grand opening when you arrive the food and facilities are top notch and the staff are very helpful, the location is perfect where you are central to everything, I don’t believe we could have chosen a better hotel in Benny as we love the old town experience but like to have a couple of nights up the lively end which is within walking distance. A great holiday with zero problems for a reasonable price, thanks again Eva and the team from both of us.

On our last day here and everything has been great. The rooms are nicely decorated, the air con really efficient. We were actually here about 12 years ago and forgot we've been here (we've been to Benidorm a few times!). The place has been completely refurbished and looks great for it. The TV's now support Netflix which is brill if you are looking for to relax for an hour. The restaurant never seemed that busy and the choice and quality of food was first class. I always tend to judge by the quality of meat in the dishes and everything was lean and well cooked. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I even used the gym (usually I was the only one), it's small but enough to work out. Just one suggestion, stop piping the massage music into the gym, it sends you to sleep. It's meant to be motivating! The hotel is only 5 mins walk from the Old Town and tapas alley which we really like. If you prefer the far end of the Levante beach and the brit bars it's about a mile (15 mins stroll or a 5 euro taxi ride). Overall we thought it was fab and good value for money. Recommended

Our second visit, it was probably even better than the first! We faced the old town on our first visit and emailed asking for a similar view, we were given one over the pool on floor 15 (room 1507 if I recall correctly) and had a nice view of the sea. Rooms have been upgraded since our last visit, they were cleaned to a good standard, very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are still quite dated, interesting placement of the bidet which was about 10cm in front of the loo but we survived. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, mini fridge, a free safe and hairdryer in the bathroom. Most importantly after coming from a heatwave in the UK, to 30+ in Benidorm, the aircon in our room was sublime! Location of the hotel is why we first picked it, come out the hotel and turn left, 3 minutes and you’re in the old town, turn left and left again down by Benidorm Plaza hotel you can cut through to the beach in about 3-4 minutes. Turn right and right again, continue down to mid-town which it has it's own great selection of bars, and 15 mins later you’re in the new town. I’m far too light a sleeper to be near the madness and this hotel is in a peaceful part of town that’s still close to everything you could want. You can also get the number 10 bus from the street behind if you want to go to El Cisne market, Albir or Altea. There is a Consum and Mercedona supermarket within a few minutes walk. When we first came in 2019 it was still an adults only hotel and attracted an older, mostly Spanish clientele so was lovely and quiet. There were a lot more Brits there this time and a small handful of families this time and pleased to see it’s kept that pocket of calm that you need in Benidorm – that said on our last day round the pool one of the staff walked in with about 20 children to play in the pool for about an hour or two. Pool area was lovely; never had an issue with getting a bed so didn’t see many towels left out, water temp was surprisingly warm for June. Importantly the tiles do get very hot, I burnt my toe on them the first day so take flip flops and wear them! There isn’t much of a pool scene, some days they had music and a game or so, other days there was nothing. Can’t speak for the evening entertainment as we were out, though there was an excellent trumpet player in the foyer one evening so we sat down to enjoy for 15 minutes. Food is decent enough for a buffet. Every night there was a great salad bar, loads of breads/cooked meats/cheese etc, and then at least 2 types of fish and a meat like pork, lamb or steak on the grill, and another 2 meat or fish dishes with sides (chips, potatoes, veg) under the lamps. The food choices seem to have more British influences than our last visit (they had roast beef and Yorkshire puddings on Sunday night) but some lovely local options as well. Excellent hotel, rooms very clean, beds are clean and comfy and staff very polite, secure safe, full size ironing board and iron always avilable at no extra cost, food is brilliant, close to shops and restaurants, cabs always easy to get and if you need to hire a mobility scooter is very easy and can be stored securly. the area is quiet at night, cost of holiday was good value. Just one small complaint lack of veggie options. Would defininitely recommend.

The hotel is nice & clean and in a great location,rooms good,kettle & tea/coffee in rm, bathroom smelt of sewerage but not too bad. We went all inclusive with tui which stated they were snacks there is no snack bar here. There is no personal touch here unless you are paying for drinks, not once all week did any staff except a nice lady in the dining room make an effort to say hello, bar tenders only asked the people paying if they wanted drinks even when it was empty they would just walk past us seeing we had empty glasses having taken a paying order from the next table,now i barely drink and dont expect silver service but jheez . It is not for kids at all there is no entertainment and no activities through the day whatsoever they put music on when the pool bar was open 12-4 but you couldn’t even hear it,so great for a chilled adult only holiday but kids would be bored .The spa was great €10 pp for 60 mins the hydro pool was lovely & warm and so many diff buttons that made jacuzzi effects etc steam rm and sauna included & great too. Had a great massage €50 for 50 mins. All in all good hotel but felt like a hindrance for being all inclusive something ive never experienced before which is a shame because you could see the waiters being nice to those who were paying,food isn’t that great so would not recommend going all inclusive.

Ask for a room with a Seaview on the top floor. would like to thank all the staff for a great time the manager should be very pride of everybody. I will be booking again as there is no availability in July for us but will look forward to next year. Food was great and the wine was excellent. San Miguel in the Bottles in the dining room the rooms were kept lovely and clean on the pool area was spotless. Thank you once again for a wonderful holiday and thanks for the boys and girls at the main bar as they kept me topped up. and they always remembered my room number 604

Have stayed here many times and never disappointed. First of all I must say that food was excellent. Have seen a few reviews that weren't great for the food but we have never had any complaints. We had delicious roast beef and roast pork twice in one week, plus roast turkey. My husband mostly had fish and there were always 2 choices. Salmon and trout being a choice on 2 nights. Mussels and prawns on the salad bar one night. Good choice at salad bar, soups and good selection of desserts as well as cheese and biscuits. Lots of choice at breakfast including made to order omelettes and lovely porridge. Also the food was always hot. The dining room staff are friendly and efficient and you never have to wait for a table. Lovely welcome from them. Can't remember all of the names but think Paquita is the head one, always cheerful. Also Tatiana and Pedro, and Moab. Possibly Elsa? Only names I can remember., but everyone good. The room was a pool view and possibly the smallest room we've had there but still amply big enough with a big bathroom. Cleaning lady was very thorough. Alex on reception checked us in and he was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The coffee and breakfast bag on our departure day was very welcome as we had an early pick up. Will we return? Just returned from another fantastic 10 day stay at our home from home hotel,arrived to be greeted by a lovely warm welcome from reception staff..Eva,Rachel,our room was ready so off we went to find a spotlessly clean bright and sunny room, During our stay the food was as usual beautiful hot varied always something for us to enjoy..and all served by friendly chefs along with the lovely waiting staff. This was our third visit this year and we are looking forward to our return later in the year…thank you to all involved for giving us another great holiday spent with lovely people in the best hotel in Benidorm.

All staff were lovely and hotel very clean. The food in my opinion was average or even below. Salads were very good. Didn’t understand why there’s free Prosecco at breakfast and yet no free water with meals. Liked the option of either lunch or dinner. No wifi on either balcony. Toilet flush not adequate. Got locked out on balcony plus not a good design with the tiny handle recess to come in so don’t fully close the door!! Didn’t take advantage of entertainment. Think more geared towards older and maybe Spanish people. 3 lifts were a joke and I’d hate to be there at full capacity. Didn’t use the pool area but again think it will be a problem in the coming months when there are more people. Loved the 12 noon checkout. It was in a perfect position but sea view was just about a view.
