Excellent location just of yellow brick road ( which has been tidied up and trees reduced to make safer ). Excellent reception staff , room ideal for 3 adults , lifts as stated elsewhere slow but not a problem in December, air con only in main corridor but plenty blankets if needed in room at night ; full kitchen facilities if needed and washing machine and clothes airer which is ideal b4 going home . Would certainly stay again"

"The hotel’s location is great, and the room is quite comfortable. However, upon checking in, I was assigned a room with a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. I promptly requested maintenance, but they didn’t send a technician. After multiple calls to the receptionist, they finally agreed to change my room, but their attitude was quite unpleasant. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options."

"Ivor went to this hotel second day our friend went down with a sickness bug. Two days afterwards my wife went down with sickness and diarrhoea vomiting and Jet2 said there is nothing to worry about. There is nothing wrong with this hotel. They are a load of liars my wife spent one day in hospital. We are home now she is still not well. All it is. It’s money money money. We found out just before we left they are closing the hotel for a month to sanitise it? What does that tell you?"

"Everything was fine but be careful with the maintenance guy, he was hanging around the hotel boxing and screaming, angry, it's very Annoying, that person lacks education and if he sees you leaning out of the window he'll scold you because he thinks you're smoking. Well, if it hadn't been for the crazy man with the ladder screaming there, angry, it would have been a recommendable hotel, but I won't tell my friends that way. Friends, go in case you come across that crazy person who is pissed off with life."

"The ad says there is parking and there is, but it costs €18 per day and it's really tight space in the basement at the back, there's no coffee or kettle, no fridge, just a very basic hotel but clean and the balcony was quite spacious and there was a big table and two chairs so when it's summer it's nice to be there. After one in the morning a group of people came and made a lot of noise, a young group, but they immediately left with a loud bang, so we were able to continue sleeping and we slept very well both nights we were there. The breakfast is really good for the price, there's omelets, coffee, bacon, yoghurt and buns and the service is an older family, the people are happy and helpful, even though they don't speak the language and the younger man knows English reasonably well and explains and helps a lot. They have a 200 euro security deposit required. There is a parking lot on Calle Venezuela!"

"We chose a double bed and there were two small ones pushed together. We are a couple and it was terrible having to keep pushing the bed together so the joint between the two wouldn't open. The buffet is disappointing because it looks good but the food doesn't have the best flavour, it's too simple and tasteless and salty. The pool closes very early and the day takes a long time to come here and without a pool it's terrible to be there!"

"Visiting family in Spain and we always stay at Hotel Benidorm Centre, great value for money, great location on the doorstep of the old town and most importantly the staff are second to none. Special shout out to Cristina and Ali for the fun and work ethic but all the staff deserve special praise from reception to the cleaners. The only gripe i have is the new Seven Seas bar set up, the entrance really needs to be back on the corner of the bar facing the 4 way junction. The bar looks to enclosed in and more like a private bar. Ali spent quite a bit of time trying to get people in although it was busy for the Champions league final. I have included an actual pic of the new bar and an AI pic showing how it should be! Great friendly hotel and returning!"

"Hotel clean but basic no fridge or kettle. And the bank to get to Hotel is not for the faint hearted.we called it cardiac Hill Breakfast not great if u want an English breakfast often only like warm and bacon undercooked. There were 6 of us and they did put us next to each other. Veiw from room amazing but NO balconies "

"I had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I asked for a room with a sea view, and they kindly upgraded me to a room on the 35th floor with a stunning panoramic view of both the sea and the entire city. During a city-wide power outage that lasted the whole day, the hotel continued to operate as usual with full electricity, while other hotels were left completely in the dark. I was truly impressed and very satisfied with my stay!"

"Just returned after 6 nights here with friends . We had a pool view room , although there is not a lot of difference in the views for the extra to be honest.its all high rises. Check in was pleasant and quick . We found the reception staff to be helpful and cheerful at all times . In fact I cannot understand previous bad reviews regarding the reception staff. Our room was bright and clean, with fridge and safe ( free unlike other penny pinching hotels that charge) 2 bottles of water complementary. The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping good and reliable. The showers were nice too. Sadly, the pool bar was never open, so if you wanted a drink you had to go down to the next level to get a drink. Not good and a pain . The bar and reception area is kept spotless by the staff and the bar staff are constantly making sure you are ok for a drink and friendly too. We were booked half board. Breakfast was super and up there with the best . Evening meal was adequate but could get a bit repetitive. Sadly some of the dining room staff were not very nice and banging things down and are obviously not happy. In fact one of the cooks was very abrasive with my brother, who has dementia. ( a course on dementia would be useful here) My brother did mention this to the dining room desk one night on the way out . But we had no feedback.. The entertainment was clearly for elderly Spanish guests ( 90% of the clientele here) which was not for us so we went out most nights . On return at night the hotel is very quiet as they all go to bed after the entertainment at midnight ( quite a few , we noticed were elderly people clearly not residents of the hotel ) However, we were happy with the peace and quiet as this hotel does not attract the younger or the stag and hen dos , which suits us. So, if you are looking for a lively place it wouldn’t be for you . On saying that , it’s central and there are many great bars with decent entertainment all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend for more peaceful oriented people or those in the retirement age bracket."

"The location was excellent for me. The dining room... we were on full board. It was an absolute disgrace from beginning to end. It's tiny, the tables are incredibly close together, and it's ridiculously difficult to get to the buffet and back to your assigned table. I think all the guests who had booked a special meal plan have never apologized as many times in their entire lives as they did there in just one day. Because you're literally constantly bumping into people, whether you're sitting down or getting up to get something from the buffet. The dining room was disgustingly clean; not picking anything up is a real miracle. You eat under immense stress. And if you want to eat (what food... that's another story... going to the burger place on any corner is even better)... going at 1:00 or 1:30 pm and dinner at 8:00 or 8:30 pm... is a real nightmare. It's truly the worst I've ever seen in terms of dining room, dining room staff, and food. And I'm not picky at all. If I were to return to that place...which is not going to be the case, it would only be as accommodation."
