Bintana Sa Paraiso

Relaxing. Quiet. Comfortable. Safe. Bintana sa Paraiso is one of those places you should stay at when you just want to be alone with your thoughts or spend time with your family or friends. I stayed there for 5 days and I'm planning to come back as soon as I left the place. The staff are always accomodating and cheerful and oh they also have 3 rabbits! The food is great that I ended up spending my alone moments eating while watching the sunset from my veranda. One thing that really made me happy was when I met one staff who takes great pictures! For a solo traveler, that's definitely a bonus point. His name is Drex and you can ask for him if ever you want someone to take your pictures 😁. Don't worry he's very friendly and helpful (We actually became friends right away). Thank you to Drex, Julie and Beverlyn for being so friendly. I never felt alone during my stay because of these guys ❤️. Again, ask for Drex if you want beautiful pictures during your stay 🙏✌️ you can even request for him to tour you around Camiguin if you ever needed a good photographer in tow 😜😁
SomeWhere Else Boutique Resort

Camiguin is a wonderful beautiful island with so much to explore, and Somewhere Else Resort is the ideal base to discover all the island has to offer. What a wonderful resort. The villas are architecturally interesting, artfully designed and full of thoughtful amenities. Every comfort is offered, everything you need is there before you even realise you need it. The owner and staff are exceptional. Giving you all the help you need, from planning your site seeing, to driving you to and from your choice of restaurant for dinner to preparing your breakfast at your chosen time in your own private space But also providing you with complete privacy. You always feel like you have this magical paradise to yourself. And as beautiful as it is, it is also not at all pretentious. Everyone is down to earth and friendly, and happy to have a chat (I am sure we talked Jerome and Andrews ears off!) :) Andrew one of the team at the resort provides a driving service if you are not confident driving yourself or just don't want to worry about it. Andrew is one of the nicest guys you will meet, and makes the whole day out fun and enjoyable, always smiling and friends with everyone on the island, he will take you to some great places you might not find on your own, mind your stuff while you snorkle, help you out when needed and is an absolute asset to this place. Then there are the sweetest dogs who live there, that I fell in love with. Plus a lovely pool, a clean beach, flowers every where. Staying at somewhere else you have this great luxury experience staying in a great villa but also feels like home, and feels like you are staying with friends. Highly recommend this place and hope to return some day. Thanks so much to Jerome, Andrew and the team for giving us such a memorable holiday.
July's Haven Seaside Pension

Our travel agent booked us a room at this place. I've noticed that during our stay there, foreigners also booked in this place (maybe since it is affordable) Good points: 1. Near the beach front (where guests can be easily dropped by if they visited White Island); 2. Clean room (with cable), and bathroom (with hot and cold shower) 3. Offers free wifi 4. The place is quiet which can help you to relax and enjoy the calmness of the sea 5. Breakfast was good. 6. Staff were good, and accommodating 7. The price for our room (quadruple) was affordable. (We stayed for 3days&2nights) Needs improvement: 1. Breakfast was good, but they need to add-up more varieties since their current menu are: cornbeef, tocino, bacon, and hotdog 2. They should changed towels everyday 3. Free distilled or purified water should be offered (not tap water) 4. They should renovate the place since it is obviously old enough, and cockroach (found one in our room) and other insects are roaming around Overall, it was a good stay since we had free transportation during our stay in Camiguin.
