It is a good resort for families.

The service was terrible.
There were hardly any Asians.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
The location is right in front of the bus stop, so you can easily go downtown.
You will need to arrange a shuttle bus or taxi from the airport.

The staff was courteous and very attentive as they have always been in past.
The resort was bought out by The Holiday Inn, restaurant options were reduced which limited options for food. Also restaurants don’t serve past 11 pm.
We did a special Valentines dinner and all of our party got sick from the seafood soup. 1 of the party was so sick they spent most of the time in the room for 3 days.
As much as we loved this resort, we will be looking for somewhere else to stay on our next visit.

We never know what to expect so we are always nervous booking new places. Royal sands was nice. Check in was easy, restaurants are what you would expect not great but not bad either. Their concierge are helpful, there is a timeshare presentation they’re pushing for of course. There’s no where to get a drink before 11am and only two places after 5 until 11pm. The spa is very nice, pools and beach were busy but was always able to find a spot. Nothing in the market was apart of all inclusive. Overall we would return.

The staff are very friendly and there are plenty of amenities including tennis and basketball courts. I liked the indoor sports bar, it is a great alternative if it's raining. Beach is clean and there are two massive pools. Will definitely come back in the future. Thanks for having me

The dining was limited with restaurants being closed and lots of up charges. Reservations were required for most places but were always booked. The beds were terrible. We are confident staff was being paid to reserve chairs. We would get down at 4 in the morning and all the lounge chairs were taken.
