Hotels near Hotel Zone, Cancun

The experience was greatly diminished when the hotel charged $150.00 for the room and key deposits. That was almost equal to the price of my entire stay. This should have been listed in the hotel description. Only stating that additional charges may be charged does not warn of the excessive charge I received. In addition, I am still fighting with them to get part of the deposit back. I travel frequently and this charge was definitely more than most hotels. And obviously, if complaints are not lodged, the deposits are not returned.

Because it is the cheapest room, the room environment is average, but the location of the hotel is great

Pros: Housekeeping does a great job of cleaning and maintaining rooms. Nice pools. Great location near hotel zone strip. Not far from public transport. Cons: Food at the hotel is horrible. Water in bathroom not clean and has a funny smell. AC in room doesn’t cool. And too much seaweed on beach.

Very disappointed with the staff at the reception. I got to their hostel at around 9 pm, the receptionists (two men) asked me to wait until they were done with some work, I was exhausted but tried to be patient. However even when they finished I wasn’t called to do the check in. I had to ask them a twice when I saw they were doing nothing. Terrible costumer service. Not helpful at all at any time. These guys really need some training

Fantastic property in terms of commons areas. The rooms are pretty outdated and have an adjoining room which feels very unsafe. The pool and beach and breakfast is very good. If I was to give rating in terms of rooms no more than 3 star common areas are a 5 out of 5.

It was really nice hotel. But we went with cheaper rate, so the room doesn't have ocean view, facing the road. you could hear the cars/buses running over night. Otherwise, very good economical hotel. Try to avoid the road facing road.

The photos on Trip are 10 times better than the hotel itself the shower is cold there was no remote control for the air conditioning and they charge a fee upon arrival for cleaning the room which is not registered on the reservation otherwise overall it remains correct to spend a few nights in the hotel but nothing more.

Everything was amazing at this hotel except for a couple things. The service was wonderful. Enjoyed that part the most. The food was also very good. Especially enjoyed the gourmet Italian restaurant, Chianti. Service there is the bomb! The pool is small and overcrowded, however. Not much seating around the pool either. The beach was sufficiently stocked with plenty of palapas and chairs, which was nice. Didn't have a problem getting a space on the beach any time of day. The color of the water in this location is absolutely breathtaking, but the roughness of the beach is tremendous. Very difficult to enjoy the water at all. Next time I will have to find a place with calmer waters. Getting a reservation for the gourmet restaurants is daunting, as usual for Mexico. I can never understand why making dinner reservations is so difficult to do at these all inclusive hotels. It is really ridiculous. The day we arrived, the ”concierge” (but really the timeshare sales person) promised to make a reservation for us for a few nights later to eat at the Italian restaurant, and she told us to check with her the day before to confirm the reservation. So I did exactly as she said but I was told that they cannot see what reservations are made until the day of the reservation. So I had to check again the day of, and of course there was no reservation made for us. They were able to give us a reservation for that evening, however. Good thing because I would have really been upset had they not, especially since we were going to be leaving the next day! Soooo very tired of this BS at the all inclusives. It's coming to the point where it's not even worth it to do the all-inclusive anymore. So very ridiculous, I swear. Something so easy has to be so difficult for them. Anyway, I wouldn't stay here again because we were not able to enjoy the pool at all, nor the beach because of the roughness of the water. Almost constantly there is a volleyball game going on in the pool and there's no room for anything else unless you want to get hit in the head by the ball! But the music around the pool was good most of the time.

The location is good. The service staff of the whole hotel is very warm and friendly. There is a small shopping district next to the hotel, which is very convenient for food and clothing. It is only a 10-minute walk from the beach. The sea is so blue and clean.
