Hotels near Plaza Aura in Cancun

The Beachscape Kin Ha Villas in Cancun surpassed our expectations. After a small problem with our room the staff found us a new room and upgraded us to a suite, which was wonderful. The views from the sea view rooms are astounding. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Reception very helpful. Staff serving breakfast work hard and are always smiling. They also work in the evenings in the restaurant on the beachfront and bar. The food is very good. We had breakfast included. It was a hot and cold buffet with all sorts of different Mexican and European dishes. Cereal, fruit and pastries. All so nice. The restaurant food was also great. The grounds and gardens were beautiful. The only small detail we would have liked was a full length mirror, but after speaking to reception at the end of our stay they informed us that they are in 98% of the rooms. We should have asked at the beginning! We came to relax for four nights and were definitely able to do that. There is no thumping music playing like some of the other resorts close by. The beach is clean and the water is so clear. Beachscape has a little shop which sells nice beach clothes, swimwear and toys for children. It also has beer, juice, milk, etc… There is a 7/11 around the corner. There is also a supermarket (huge) about ten minutes walk away. This has everything you could possibly need and more! DO NOT be drawn in by the people at the top of the escalators in the supermarket on your way out!! They will ask to see your receipt and tell you that you can get a huge reduction in price on a catamaran trip and breakfast in a beautiful hotel around the corner for 90 minutes of your time. They will take you to another hotel miles away and try to make you buy time share and stay there for hours! The extremely friendly man who talked us into going was not at all friendly once we said we didn’t want time share and was very unhappy when we insisted he call us a taxi to take us back!

I had a fairly okay experience here but compared to the other hotels I've stayed in cancun this takes the bottom. Check in at the hotel desk are long, hotel room is tiny and you can hear sounds from the other room next to you and there was also construction going on so noise was an issue and hotel rooms bath room doesn't have an air ventilation systems so all your business stays in the restroom. Also considering this has a party beach outside, this hotel is not for people that enjoy the quiet side of life. It's difficult to sleep at night when there's a party outside past midnight. The only upside is if you pay for the all inclusive package your meals are covered that's the awesome part they have got a good buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's the only thing that made me and my family happy for staying at this hotel.

The buffet is fresher. The beach seems not to be under the hotel control, there is an extra charge on the beach, it is best to hide in the hotel. Water activities on the beach will be forced to ask for $20 tips, $60 for 6 photos, a Korean 🤏 fee, tell him that he is Chinese, he will not force. Facilities: Very comfortable 🤤 WiFi full coverage Hygiene: very clean, there is a little brother who comes to clean every day Environment: Very clean, you can ask for unlimited blankets with the hotel waiter Service: Basically everything you want 🤤

I enjoyed this hostel a lot! It had a nice vibe and the people were very accommodating! It was also colorful and I liked the people and the common areas. The hostel was chill but fun at the same time!

The experience was greatly diminished when the hotel charged $150.00 for the room and key deposits. That was almost equal to the price of my entire stay. This should have been listed in the hotel description. Only stating that additional charges may be charged does not warn of the excessive charge I received. In addition, I am still fighting with them to get part of the deposit back. I travel frequently and this charge was definitely more than most hotels. And obviously, if complaints are not lodged, the deposits are not returned.

This was our 6th trip to Isla but our first to Izla Hotel and I would be honored to return. We booked a Superior Ocean View room with a tub on the balcony. We never used the tub. Room was perfect air conditioning worked very well. They supplied shampoo, conditioner, lotion, coffee and started with 2 bottled waters which increased with our stay as with pod style coffee grinds. The bed was super comfortable as were the linens. It was cleaned perfectly every day. Check in was smooth thanks to Daniel who reviewed all the documents in detail and answered all questions. Breakfast buffet was included with our room and was phenomenal every single day. From a table full of baked goods to fresh fruit, salads, deli meats and cheeses, cottage cheese oat milk oatmeal, yogurt, seeds, dried fruits, honey and other sauces, whole fruit for grab and go, hot dishes including pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, an additional meat dish and chilaquiles, also an egg station for however you like them. Orange juice and green juice and coffee were endless! Thank- you Josefina and Eduardo you and the crew treated us so well. Chef Lorena was present and greeted the tables from sun up to sun down. Pool chairs and beach chairs were plenty just ask for an umbrella as needed. We ate lunch beach side when at the resort the food is great! We did rent a cabana one day it costs $50 a day and your food and drink goes towards that total so it was included as we had drinks and cocktails throughout the day. Thank- you Claudia and Jimmy for looking after us on the beach and around the pool. Our dinners at Izla Café and Numa was so easy and good and the desserts were very tasty! On occasion we ate off site and sometimes we would go into Izla Café in the evenings for dessert only! Very relaxing quite hotel. We fully enjoyed our stay and will return. something terrible I was with my husband for 3 days, unfortunately it was not possible to cancel the booking, air conditioning on the floors does not work the hotel in the lobby looks great if you go to the 1st or 2nd floor it smells so damp that you can't stand the smell, the same smell is in the room . saving on air conditioning they spoiled the whole beautiful hotel as carpets, curtains and furniture dragged with damp.Our first room smelled so bad that it was impossible to sleep in it, on the second day we got a second room with a fridge full of sand and hair, sand in the bathroom, we didn't have any more strength to admonish, we just left the hotel the next morning. If you land in Mexico early in the morning forget you will get a room for 3 even if it's vacant and your status is titanium.At breakfast there were no plates of coffee cups, point 10 they even took water which is insane at these temperatures. very low level of service! ar the hotel really and the rooms are beautiful! It's just a pity that the staff doesn't know how to take care of it! Staff very rude!

I booked a sea view suite for about $250 a night, and stayed for a week. Because of the US epidemic, there were less than ten guests in the resort, so it was empty, and a restaurant was opened. There is a supermarket in the hotel, open from Monday to Saturday, you can buy some necessities. It is because the hotel’s own restaurant is very poor, so it is necessary to rent a car to go outside the restaurant to buy and eat back to the hotel, the hotel comes with a car rental service, car rental 46 dollars a day insurance. The restaurant outside the hotel is very cheap to eat. Basically, it costs US$100 to buy enough food for 3 days and bring it back to the hotel. Talk about the advantages. Very quiet, sea view suites have everything, microwave, stove, refrigerator, tableware, washing machine, very suitable for family living. The bed is very large and very comfortable, really comfortable! Also, the hotel is very clean. The location of the hotel is not in the 7th district, so the price is very economical.

Let me get the bad out of the way which is only that they did not answer the phone. Also the escalator and elevator going up did not work. This was frustrating as I was trying to coordinate transportation to get there and carrying my bags upstairs was exhausting. Now the good which is so much! The place is super clean and very well designed. The whole capsule idea is genius! It feels like I’m going into a bunk on a spaceship. For how small it is there was plenty of room to feel comfortable. There’s a TV a hook, and even a pull out table! The bathrooms and showers were very clean. I love how quiet it was. I had a wild time in Cancun and I wanted this to respite before my flight. It stays 62 degrees which is cold for me but they graciously offer blankets. Breakfast is included. I don’t eat breakfast so they made me a plate to go. I thought that was super nice. I wish there were more of these around the world. Awesome experience!
