Radisson Red Hotel V and A Waterfront Cape Town

Check-in was a breeze, though there was some hiccups because I booked for 2A2C and hotel claimed that my booking only shown 2A. I presented my booking confirmation from trip.com showing 2A2C and no further issue. The was the usual bottled water, tea bags and coffee capsules provided but they were not replenished. According to the staff, all guests will only received them one time no matter how long the stay is. Can pay for more if needed. Room was overall clean and I had a great view of the Table Mountain, it was amazing! There was disposabke shower cap, vanity kit provided, while other toiletries such as shower gel/shampoo/conditioner were big tubs screwed to the wall. I wished the hotel had a rack in the shower area for guests to put toiletries. Location was good, in the V&A waterfront area and it felt safe walking around as there were V&A security personnel around the area. Easy to get food and other amenities from the mall. The hotel also has a restaurant that operates til 2am so it’s convenient to get food downstairs. At hotel lobby, there’s free popcorn and candies for guests. There’s also 2 game machines and are free to play. Will recommend staying here!

Had a stay 5 days ago before heading to the safari and back again for another 3 nights stays. Similar opinion as the previous stay. Bathroom lights too bright, no power point in bathroom. Service in general ok but was a bit unhappy the day we asked to sleep in and don't make up room, they were very reluctant to provide drinking water, really strange over such a small matter. However overall staff are friendly. Once again, liked the location but price wise was expecting a much better hotel overall.

Absolutely fantastic location, right in the heart of the Waterfront area. The hotel restaurant is excellent as well.

We loved staying here. Quiet room, great staff and wonderful location would stay again.
