Stayed here again after 3 years and had an equally great experience. Convenient and safe location with greater views of table mountain.

This is a safe, reliable, and conveniently located option for anyone needing access to the CBD, complemented by a very friendly staff!

Stayed twice with the hotel. I liked that everything I needed was within walking distance. Both rooms were spacious enough with kitchen and everything you might need during your stay. Despite some flaws the stay was good value. First room on the first floor was okay, clean and quiet BUT the door to the bathroom provides coverage from the eyes and NO coverage from the sounds or smells. Also no ventilation in there. We had windows open in the evening and smelled smoke from the outside. The second time around we got bigger room with beautiful view on the signal hill and neighbouring houses. The only drawback were the little tiny curly black hairs ON THE WALLS and the ceiling of the bathroom hahaha the helping stuff must had not seen it when cleaning. Mind you our hair isn’t black nor curly. Still it was a reasonably good stay.

Room was noisy but the Location was convenient and the room was clean.

Great stay! Nice clean apartment in an excellent location. Check-in was smooth and everything worked perfectly. Would recommend.

The Point Break Apartment Hotel in Cape Town is a fantastic option for those looking for both comfort and convenience. Located just a short walk from the V&A Waterfront, you're right in the heart of the action, with easy access to great pubs, restaurants, and shops. The apartment itself was spacious, offering a cozy atmosphere with a balcony, sofa, and kitchenette – perfect for preparing meals or just relaxing after a busy day of exploring. With amenities like free WiFi, a TV, and a refrigerator, it felt like a home away from home. The best part was the combination of reasonable pricing and high-quality service. Overall, I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town.

We booked the same room again on the 25th. Then we requested to check out at 1pm. We didn’t hear anything from no one. This morning at 10am there was knocking on our door. The lady said its time to check out. I said mo cause we requested to check out at 1pm. She went ahead and said there are extra fees and she will ask the front desk. 5min later knocked again on the door. Says no we cant stay and have to check out at 11am(note this was at 10:20am) when she told me, I went ahead and told her this is on them and we requested to leave later. She left, next minute, a man came back. All arrogant. Told me why didn’t I pack up my bags the previous night. Also said that if I dont leave cleaners will come. I said its okah they can come but I might still be busy packing up. He said if thats the case they can help me put my stuff outside. I told him I dont like the tone he is using and being aggressive. He said hr not aggressive but he definitely was and threatened me with security that will escort me out. He left and came back(note I was in my towel) he said he left me in my towel and I am still the same( note I took a shower, busy packing up stuff in the room as we came from abroad and had a lot of baggage) he said he is calling security. Then my husband came out of the room and told him why he using that tone with me and he been listening to him the whole time! This man immediately changed his whole tune when he saw my husband. So inappropriate! And disrespectful! Will definitely will not be staying here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Point Break Luxury Apartments, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations. This was my fourth visit, and it’s clear why I keep coming back. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and warm. Their hospitality truly makes you feel at home. The property itself is impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. One of the highlights is the convenient location. Being so close to the V&A Waterfront, just a short Uber drive away, makes exploring Cape Town a breeze. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this location is ideal. The views from the apartments are nothing short of sensational. Waking up to the sight of Table Mountain is an experience that never gets old and adds a unique charm to the stay. My thanks to the staff and management for yet another phenomenal stay – I look forward to my next visit!

Close to restaurants and entertainment spots. The staff is amazing.
