JW Marriott Charlotte

We were staying here celebrating our anniversary. Booked a suite and double 90 minute massages at the spa. Short staffed upon check in for the room, had to wait 20 minutes to be helped. Room was not ready. Paid for a suite to celebrate and was given a handicap accessible room. Not an huge deal but showing and room layout was not what we had hoped for and Had before. After finding out said property was booked up. Only offered a $75 credit for a $850 room. Manager on site had an attitude and mocked us for asking for more off. Recommend us to stay elsewhere if we weren’t satisfied. The spa experience was great and the staff there was amazing. Upon check out, we used the app to request our car to be brought up from valet. After waiting over 45 minutes and asking several times for an update we asked one of of the bellhop about where our car was only to find out one of them had the keys but forgot to bring it up. We usually stay here several times a year but this experience was horrendous. Service was the biggest let down.

Great service, especially steak house and room service. Food was very good. Breakfast in co concierge lounge was very good

We have expected complimentary break fast … I have see many hotels offering this , but not at jwm

I booked this hotel online, due to the description of the rooftop bar. The website indicated it was open. Upon arrival- the reason I chose to stay there was “ closed for the season”. I would have stayed somewhere else. The hotel was nice, clean, and staff was great.

Terrible front desk expierience was charged 3pp for incedentals and they didnt tell me couldnt uber to the airport or eat at the convention center because of the extra funds removed from the card. Couldnt add money because the only atm for my bank the tower was locked which means the atm was closed

Beware when valet parking. My daughter wallet missed and dropped out of her pocket without her realizing upon check in and when we got our vehicle back the wallet was there but ALL the cash was gone. I reported the matter and never heard from the valet manager. The grinch stoled her Christmas.

Very convenient and best hotel if attending events at the Convention Center.
